I have been to Mike's since the late 80's .. he is the BEST person to put taps on tap shoes .. about the ONLY shoe shop that does it correctly. I have also had boots re-soled, re-heeled and had zippers replaced on boots .. all done professionally, in a timely manner and reasonably priced. Not many shoe repair people around these days, and I altho' I no longer live in Scarborough, I drive the 20+ miles to go there for any shoe work. Plus he is very personable & friendly!

Fantastic 🎉🎉 Mike and staff at Roys Scarbourgh location Is bar none best of best! Mike is genius from resoling my 20 pairs of Birkenstock s to my Danskos and it goes on! Mike is such a genius I would say a master Leathersmith with designing shoe I haven't the title that's appropriate enough to give him he has re-stitched the handles on how many purses replace zippers on leather purses and literally reconstructed one of my fine fine leather jackets! I've been to the rest and I now have the best and I have for the past I don't know 1520 years since day one of his opening this location in Scarborough This man deserves a day off and if you go there you get to know the schedule and actually it's on the front door he is kind professional honest and fair need I say more? It is my privilege to know this brilliant genius of a man and his employees just as wonderful!!! I believe he loves what he does and that's the difference between some of the other places around I believe watching him handrub a pair of boots of mine surpasses any of the fancy leather places I've been to! If I could give Mike in the shop 10 stars and a Michelin award for excellence in his work I most certainly would. Definitely worth stopping by no matter how small or large the task.

Took a hockey skate in that had the laces rip through the eyelets. The repair was quick and easy, and they put 2 D rings in to lace through. Voila, solved. I'll be back

horrible service. All I was having done was a basic cleaning and the shoes were days late. Cobbler Mike never even called to tell me! When I finally went to pick them up the store was closed. EXTREMELY unprofessional!
