"Bottle and Can redemption center for ALL bottles and cans that were purchased in the state of Maine that you paid either a 5¢ or 15¢ on. All returnable cans and bottle must be clean with labels AND empty. We do not pay for cans and bottles with no labels or with liquids in them. Some bottles and cans bought in Maine that you paid deposit on may also not be in the bottle registry yet, and we may not be able to take those containers."

Customer service is phenomenal, food is always well-prepped and presentable. I order frequently from this establishment and am always satisfied with their service. Staff is very friendly and always welcomes you with smiles, thank you for supplying great food for the alley too!
I would give negative stars if possible. I go out of my way to collect bottles and cans for savings, for my NEWBORN daughter. This little twerp Cameron wrote my ticket out for $12.40 when I ABSOLUTELY had NO LESS than $35! Do not support these scumbags, not at the store nor the redemption center.
I emailed the redemption center and told them how many cans I had an asked do I need to wait for them to be recounted or can I just drop them? .my answer was.." I'll have to count a bag to be sure of the count." I said that's fine...I had just counted then and had written the amount down bag by bag. I had 2063 without the glass bottles and 2113 with the glass ..,.they counted 1445 with the glass. ... I know I'm not a genius but I can count. I counted each bag and wrote down the amount then added up the 7 bags for a grand total of 2113 cans and bottles. $105.65....thats a $33.40 difference...NO WAY I WAS OFF THAT MUCH. A buck or two maybe but not 33 dollars..!when I explained they were off I got "well that's what we counted. " And they do this all the time .,.so what..they made a mistake.then the cashier shorted me 10 bucks I had to go back in and get it !I'll never go there again. So if you go there count your bottles first because they obviously can't count!
Counter staff is great. Bottle redemption staff is non-existent. After waiting 45 minutes they did not show up for work. Don't waste your time here.
This place is awesome! So great to see a small local business thrive in the midst of the pandemic AND a move. Hope they continue to make the BEST "gas station" pizza in the state.

Mike's redemption has moved to 59 Downeast Highway in Ellsworth! Great place to bring returnables! Right by Helen's restaurant!
They have Gluten free foods like Breakfast Sandwich, Cheese Burgers, Grinders, Cookies, Pizza and more all Gluten Free. The Coffee is great too. And come by and say Hi to Michelle.
