I am not sure how Desjardins has not been sued for their gross incompetence and lack of communication. A few months ago they cancelled my car insurance without notifying me. They had sent a piece of letter mail that was returned to them because they used the wrong postage “notifying me” that they needed a copy of my licence that hadn’t changed. When they didn’t get my licence because the letter never made it to me they sent another piece of letter mail letting me know they cancelled my police that once again, was returned to their office. They had my email, phone number, home address, emergency contacts, and more means of contacting me but they didn’t. Their mistakes resulted in me unknowingly driving without insurance for months and I only noticed when I realized they stopped taking money out of my account. I now am stuck paying almost double my original premium because I have a gap in my insurance due to this company being unable to put a stamp on an envelope. Save yourself the time and money and go with someone else!!! I am with Aviva now and although my premium is high, they provide full coverage and they email you if a letter mail communication is returned to them.

I was fortunate enough to have an agent named Thais from this office to initially help me get information regarding auto insurance. I had a unique situation and even without me committing to Desjardins as an insurance provider yet, Thais gladly gave me the information I needed. She was very pleasant, courteous and communicated well with me through the phone and email. She guided me on getting supporting documentation to help me get a good rate considering how expensive premiums could be here in Toronto. I was won over by her excellent customer service. I did not get to interact with any other agent in this office but I will gladly recommend this agency to others just for the fact that Thais did a phenomenal job! I will definitely reach out to her again in the future for other insurance needs.

I was looking up many insurance companies, and this one is my favourite one. My delivery date came earlier than expected, so I did not prepare for the car insurance. At the very last minute, I did a few car insurance quotes, then on the following day, Mr. Quyen Diep called me, and I was very impressed by his professionalism. He helped me with car insurance because this was my first time buying a car. I have no ideas about that. In addition, he proceeded with paperwork work so fast, on time, and respond me fast enough.. Five years ago I provided a fairly damning review of this agent. Things have changed. While I am still disappointed with Desjardins they sure aren't State Farm in terms of their offerings and approach my view of the agent has improved dramatically. They've provided great service on my auto insurance policies and were quick to help me transfer these policies to my new address.

I got a chance to work with Eric Quyen Diep briefly, and he solved all my inquiries within few minutes. He is very kind, understanding, professional and fast-response. Strongly recommend!!!
