Mighty Good Coffee @Arbor Hills

I was there this morning 09/11/2017 @10:00am. This coffee shop looks super nice from outside so I saved the date to go there today, during my stay in Ann Arbor. Unfortunately, the staff (the guy the served me at least) doesn't know anything about customer service. He was too cool to even bother to describe the kinds of coffees they offer, and the placed wasn't crowded. If you want to stand out of the pack in a competitive market, like coffee shops, you do it either with service or product quality and innovation. But how will a customer know about your products quality and innovation if the staff is not willing to explain it to customers??? Sorry is asking what is a Manual Brewed Coffee is too much to ask. My summary: The coffee is good, but sorry it doesn't offer neither the quality not the service to price it +50% over Starbucks. It not worth it. Pastries, are overpriced too. Around $3.5 per a regular sized croissant. I won't be back

A great hidden gem. Loved the coffee choices. The fresh pastry options are delicious. They are a bike friendly business.

I ordered a hot coffee with Calder dairy chocolate milk, the gentleman behind the counter rang me up for a cold brew, which is twice as expensive. I chose not to worry about it, but then my mother ordered a cold brew coffee with traditional milk, half caffeinated, half decaffeinated (she's sensitive to caffeine). She made a mistake, meant to order hot coffee and explained when she saw him preparing it - the barista-gentleman, instead of remaking the coffee, chose to explain to her four times that she had been the one to misspeak (ironic, since he had just unknowingly messed up my order). She was obviously uncomfortable at that point and just wanted to stop being told she was wrong. He then made her an incredibly strong pourover that was the exact opposite of a half-caff. Not a fan of places that put trendy and hipster over friendliness and good customer service. Poor form.

There is no other place, unless it’s one of their other locations, you need to go to get coffee. Mighty Good is the best.

Great coffee and food! Only issue is it often takes forever to get your coffee, longer for food. Even when they're not busy, it's taken 10-15 mins to get my whole order.
