MidWestOne Bank

My family has over 5 accounts with this bank. The bank keeps being bought out, which is good for the owners of the bank. Everytime a new bank comes into the picture, the nickel and dime you to death. When this bank was called "The River Bank", banking was available 9-12 noon on Saturdays. Since Central Bank took over (now Midwest One) only drive through is available on Saturdays. Most people banking with them work in MN...During weekdays, the bank closes at 5:30 PM (slightly better than the previous one). Unfortunately customers come through Hudson only after 5:30 PM...It is almost impossible to have a person to person talk ever. I have thought about moving all the accounts; i am going to wait till the end of this year to see if they change their practices.

The branch in Hudson, WI was very rude. I had to talk to them regarding my HSA account. The lady I talked to didn't seem to have a clue was she was talking about. Then she put me on hold and eventually hung up on me. I had to call back a few minutes later and got a different lady that was much nicer but they still didn't seem to have any idea how to help me with the problem I was having. I only use this bank for my HSA account but I definitely won't be using them again and I plan on closing the account.
