Superior customer service, everyone knows you by name. Their staff gives you a feeling that they care about you. We've have a wonderful experience with Citizens for Business and Personal banking needs.

I don't know what people are talking about. This has been BY FAR the best banking experience of my life. They came through on a very unique one off loan when I was in a pinch selling my house. I've done a boat loan as well as an auto loan with them, both of which took less than 15 minutes for paperwork (most of which was just catching up on how they've been personally). If you want to feel like a number and have your info plugged and chugged, then go to a huge bank. If you wanted to be treated like a rock star without having a phone prompt menu with 9 different options, then go with Citizens. They're fantastic!

horrible bank , online checking system is running on coldfusion code from like 20 years ago. Can't change your ATM pin number on the internet or over the phone, you have to physically go into the bank during business hours, or they can send you a new one on a piece of paper in the mail. Everything is a big hassle with this small town bank. Want to do anything online? Nope. Want to check your account with an app? Nope. When I closed on my house, it was this big endeavor just to get them to give me a few month's worth of my checking account transactions that was properly notarized. (And of course, had to go in during business hours, couldn't do that online either.) I just called them to try and reset ATM pin number so I can take out some cash in a pinch. Apparently that is impossible for citizens state bank. You can't do that online! You have to physically come in during business hours, or wait for a new number that they send you on a piece of paper in the mail. Lol what. I just opened a new checking account online in like 2 seconds. I will be closing my account with citizens state bank. I'll probably have to send them a smoke signal or telegraph or something.

This bank makes deposits an absolute headache. And they are less than helpful over the phone.
