Michinoku Japanese Restaurant

A great little local sushi spot in Niagara. I order here regularly and their sushi is always fresh and overall high quality for the price. The photos are of their combo A and its enough for 1 - 2 people. NOTE: There is only one chef and if they are busy, they will decline your order to maintain quality, so be sure to order in advance!

Nice and clean family run place I think. Small but I like the privacy. Very welcoming. Good food though a bit pricey but they prep up and serve the food fresh.

We ordered michinoku dinner, sashimi dinner and the eel or you can call Una-don dinner. Service is good , environment is ok. The food are , well, mixed experience , or below average in most part. The assorted tempura is good, batter is smooth and light, the vegetables choice used is in tempura is interesting. Salad is good, not as good as Taki but still over average. The eel is not tasty, like just took out from freezer and reheated. For that price, i start missing Taki....: Sashimi are ok, but the salmon are thin and small, lacking of flavours, like its using tails part to serve. BTW cheif need sharpen the knife, i can see some tears on the peices. The rolls comes with the michinoku dinner are bad, tast like nothing. Over all, the food is ok, consider the price, i will give 3 stars for the food only. But overall , 4.

Best Sushi I've ever had.

My family and I LOVE this place!!! The sashimi and sushi are fresh and thick slices prepared by chef Koji . Aya the lovely lady is very friendly and always provides excellent services when we are there. The BEST Japanese restaurant in Niagara Falls!

The food was really yummy and quite unique. Great service and ambiance too. I really enjoyed the pan fried dumplings and tofu agedashi.

Way overpriced. Came in for a quick lunch by myself... Almost $50 I had barely eaten anything and was still hungry when I left. Not great value or quality here.

I was hearing how fresh this sushi was and tonight I tried it and it did not disappoint! So delicious and had several yummy vegetarian options, will definitely be ordering again!!

Food is super fresh and tasty. Takes awhile to arrive though. Excellent Service. A little pricey. Free Onsite Parking. No WiFi. Clean Washrooms. Speaks Japanese and English.
