If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would! I am a retired chef and can honestly say the chef Danny is incredible. Everything I tasted was 10/10, ingredients were so fresh and the fish just melts in your mouth. The wait staff was very nice and the restaurant was clean and orderly. Best sushi I've had in Ontario - hands down. I hope everyone discovers this place and supports Danny!! He deserves it!
Love it when you start hearing through the grape vine that there's a guy making sushi from home and not long after you hear of a location opening. Danny found his niche, stick to what you do best, perfect it and make people happy. The staff are super friendly and the food is spot on. Seems like online ordering is what works for them. If I can give one bit of advice it would be to pickup the phone, every customer is to be valued. Cheers
Really good sushi quality at this price! We ordered the sushi dinner, rainbow roll and one roll that’s without rice. All three of those were super good! The salad that comes with the sushi dinner was also very special! The roll that’s without rice I forgot the name was very unique that the texture inside of the roll was so soft and the seaweed outside was crispy. Would def visit again if I go to the Fall again:
I've experienced enough good sushi and this place was unreal! Hands down some of the freshest fish I've tasted. As soon as you walk in, Danny owner and his team of sous chefs will make you feel at home. Everything we tried was fresh and super delicious. There is limited seating, so reservations strongly recommended.
This place is a five star the chef and his team are on point. Food quality 10/10. Presentation is very good. Time of order to table is good. Price good. Flavor and freshness are very good! The atmosphere is really nice. Service is also very good. Highly recommend!!!
Everything was fantastic. Staff was great, and the food was so fresh. I really enjoyed the food here. Can not say enough good things about the food quality and preparation. Everything was clean did not use bathroom but food took a long time to serve after ordering because the kitchen is insanely busy with takeout orders. The only reason for 4 star is because the dining room size and layout. There are few tables to be able to dine in, and there is constant foot traffic in and out due to take out orders. I found it kind of awkward to eat in, due to table arrangement, because my chair was in the way of the server walking around and the customers standing at entrance waiting for orders. Also listening to the phone ring off the hook was very annoying! I was hangry when I arrived so I am sure this can account for little things being annoying, especially waiting for food. But still overall, I enjoyed the meal and would likely visit again. I did not take pics of dining room for privacy reasons because there was too many people to avoid faces.
Danny's Sushi is simply excellent quality sushi! Our family are huge sushi fans and were a bit lost after the Taki closed a few years ago. Since Danny opened up his own place, we have been a bunch of times for dine in and take out. We are well experienced with sushi, and Danny offers the best around!
I have been all over this world and this is up there in terms of best sushi. Their spicy tuna and spicy salmon are really really good. I don't like deep fried rolls but theirs are quite the thing. Well done Danny, we'll done!
Very good! The food was great and service was good. They do have a lunch menu until 2pm no vegetarian options on the lunch menu. Although I wish there were more vegetarian sushi or rolls with tofu or egg, it was still a good meal and I would come again!Food: 5/5
Ordered take out for the first time here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. So happy I did! Very friendly and welcoming staff. The restaurant is very clean. The sushi and tempura vegetables we ordered as well as the grilled octopus were probably the best we ever had- very fresh! Love supporting this local business! Keep up the good work!
