A very nice hibachi experience while visiting Niagara falls for the day. I went in with family for lunch while visiting Canada for a short holiday and it was a great experience. The staff at the desk was nice and she was also our server. Kudos for coming over every once in a while to check up on us and take additional orders. Our hibachi chef Arthur was very likeable and had a goof sense of humour. The skills were great too. The food was amazing and tasted good. Nothing beats food that's made in front of you so 5 stars for the food and experience. Prices were inclusive of the tip for the hibachi chef so you know the range of your bill at the time of ordering. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian
Pretty good place for a whole meal! Pretty expensive, but it makes sense to me because the staff work pretty hard and considering that we get a show while we wait for the food. The chef made the food great and the waitress was very nice too! The service as a whole is amazing. The place looks very nice and I'd say that the location is a bit convenient.
This establishment was awesome. Starting from the counter staff that seated us party of 9 to the individual that took our order and especially our cook, Edwin. We ordered a-lot off the menu and the food was great. Edwin definitely made the experience better with his jokes and his expertise on the grill. Will recommend this place to all friends and family that visit Niagara Falls.
I usually love Benihana! Our chef Tyler was very personable and checked in with us to see how we were enjoying everything regularly. We loved him! The server, said maybe 15 words to us the entire time we were there and of course there was a 17% automatic gratuity added to the bill. Prix fixe starts at $65 for chicken and $99 for filet mignon. The appetizer includes grilled shrimp but for us there was a shrimp allergy so we inquired about replacements and they didn’t have any adequate replacements. They could only offer a second underwhelming salad mostly made up of iceberg lettuce or a second soup. Additionally anyone that frequents the chain who also loves the spicy mayo they typically offer for free.. well it’s $8 at this location for a side of spicy mayo pictured All in all, there are other, more affordable hibachi teppanyaki restaurants I’d recommend before suggesting this one.
That was literally the worst Benihana Hibachi experience I’ve ever had. 1. The staff didn’t seem interested in either being quick or friendly. They always were in a rush. 2. The Ambiente is nice, but the AC and air vents for the hibachi stations create so much noise that you can barely understand the person next to you or the chef. 3. The chef we had didn’t seem interested in anyone and was no fun at all. He literally just cooked in front of us and none of his “tricks” worked. No interaction with the people at all. 4. The food was okay, but lacked taste and the NY Strip Steak didn’t seem to be good quality. 5. The grand finale was the bill. Hold on tight. 275 CAN $ or 192US $ for two people was absolutely outrageous. We just had the NY Strip and the Tuna, so nothing crazy. That of course included the solid 17% Tip. In conclusion, don’t you ever go to this Benihana, spent the money at the Put Put course ! That’s only 12CAN$ and worth every cent! Worst Benihana EVER
Ugh. What a waste of 300.00. I was excited to eat here since the name has been around for many years. The soup tasted like watered down beef gravy. Not even a hint of any asian flavours. I would have been happy with a simple miso soup. The dressing on the salad was way too salty. I had the grilled chicken with vegetables. Broccoli was too salty. The rest of the meal was ok. Definitely not worth the price. I’m surprised this franchise has been around so long. Don’t recommend going here for the prices they charge. And the real kicker is, they automatically add a 17% tip on your bill. Could have got a better meal elsewhere for a fraction of the price we paid. So disappointed.
I wouldn’t waste my time here. Came from Ottawa and wanted the Benihana experience but it wasn’t anything to brag about. The chef seemed sleepy and the food was so bland and basic. You get fried rice, zucchini + onions as your side and then chicken, beef or shrimp. Nothing interesting and it was a whopping $100 for the cheapest main!! For a place that is right in the snack of Clifton hills, I would step it up a little and get more creative.
Had a wonderful experience at Benihana with my partner to celebrate my 30th birthday. Our waitress Mia was a pleasure to have and worked with us when my partner and I both had ask for minor changes due to dietary restrictions. Mia even came out to sing happy birthday to me which was a lovely treat. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
The coolest dinning experience! Went here with our kids and our Chef Patrick was amazing! He catered to the fact that our kids were with us and put on an amazing show!! He had us laughing and entertained the whole time and when it was time to eat, the food SO good, 10/10. Recommend to everyone!
Went there for a meal I'd never forget. Great and accomodating friendly staff. Great atmosphere, food may not be the most authentic but it certainly was delicious. Ladies if you're going to go, do yourselves a favor, ask for Tyler.
