Mica Mountain Lodge & log cabins & side by side ATV tours

Although I found the cabin neat and cozy, a spectacular view. I found the Elke to be lacking in her customer service skills especially when she insulted me upon leaving. She took it upon herself to remove one of my personal items from the cabin while I was gone. She should have spoken directly to me about the item. Very unprofessional and disrespectful. When I emailed her to explain my displeasure she responded with more insults and did not acknowledge nor apologize for the way she treated this guest of hers! Kind of like going to a restaurant and the meal was fabulous but your server was rude. Makes you not return regardless of how good the food is, The owner continues to belittle me and lie about the situation on her Facebook review page. She continues to show poor business sense and has even threatened to take me to court for lying. I do still have her note and all the emails she sent me that prove otherwise.

The cabin are delightful. Awesome views, comfortable and well appointed. Elke keeps the cabins in immaculate condition and a tour with Juergen in the Ranger is an unforgettable experience. If you want to get away from the hubbub of life yet still have all the comforts of home, this is the place! I have already booked for another stay next year.

Beautiful, clean cabins, wonderful, helpful hosts. I can highly recommend Mica Mountain Lodge to anybody looking for a quiet getaway in the mountains. And lets not forget the two beautiful horses who are always happy to interact with the guests!

I can only comment on the cabins. The ATV tours were fully booked during our stay. There are three cabins that are relatively close together, but dense forest provides plenty of privacy. The cabins are simple and cozy, as advertised. The Southwest facing deck has a covered seating area and a lovely mountain view. Perfect for watching the sunset. There is also a fire pit and picnic table nearby. Great for roasting marshmallows The bed is comfortable, bathroom clean and functional, and the kitchen made it easy for us to prep food for the next leg of our trip. WiFi is available near the office, but not in the cabins. No big deal for us, but be warned. It's all the little things like the deck view, fire pit and generous host that makes this destination 5 stars.

This place is absolute paradise! I have visited these cabins since the year 2000 and Elke deserves a hospitality award for creating and maintaining a slice of heaven on earth.
