Meziadin Lake Provincial Park

Meziadin Lake is one of my favourite parks in the BC system, except for one thing - bugs! Every time I've been there, they're so bad that you can't sit outside and enjoy the amazing scenery. But, with many of the sites right on the shore (all of them spacious), lots of good dog-walking roads, and everything immaculate, I'll keep visiting. And decent wi-fi out in the middle of nowhere, too!

Pretty campground. Fairly wide sites. Many are long but have a bend so could be hard for long rig. Mosquitoes were bad (end of June). Outhouses have hanging flowerpots; interesting touch.

The area is beautiful, the campgrounds are well taken care of, I personally found the staff to be very helpful and extremely nice! The bugs were crazy, little black flies, my dogs got the brunt of them there poor tummies were covered in welts and that was after a good dose of bugs spray. That's the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars. It could very well have just been the year and the weather! The lake and the mountains right at your fingertips! All in all we really enjoyed our stay!

Camping on the lake. Nice sites. However, no generator use after 8 pm. Fishing boat is a great idea if you like to catch fish. Beautiful scenery of the mountains and mosquitoes in the heat of summer...what camping is all about....lol

Beautiful park and lake, camp host extra helpful. Enjoyed our 2 night stay.
