My experience at Mezes was absolutely amazing!nThe food was incredibly delicious and of high quality. The salad and garlic bread were fantastic, and the meat was so flavorful. I truly felt like I was traveling to Greece!nI hope they always maintain this exceptional quality.
Incredible food and service!! All of the tapas/appetizers were SO delicious and amazing... the flavors and everything!! Wine and drinks were also delicious!! Thank you so much and highly recommended!! The entrance is accessible but the washrooms are in the basement. Beautiful decir and nice outdoor heated and covered patio !!
Was really looking forward to eating at this place heard some good things. the place is packed. It’s best to make reservations after a short wait we got seated and our waiter was quick to introduce himself. The service was great. The food was underwhelming. Tasted similar to what you would find in a fast food setting. Don’t get me wrong. It was good, but it wasn’t memorable. The atmosphere is alive and happening.
The saganaki wasn’t very sweet like usual saganaki that I’ve had and the waiter didnt light it on fire in front of us so I didnt get to record it unfortunately. But the dining area was pretty. Chicken souvlaki could’ve been cooked a bit better but perhaps it was just because it was a Monday night? The steak skewers, fried Calamari/Kalamari, greek fries and tzatziki were pretty good. Salad seemed to be drenched in slightly too much olive oil however but still not bad. Overall 6/10. It’s a nice place to go to if you wanna slightly dress up though, and the renovations look really good! Also- found $7 paid parking about a 2 minute walk away at the Chester subway station
This is our second time at Mezes, first was Father's Day one of our daughters brought us.nToday it was to celebrate our 36th AnniversarynThe food was amazing and staff was awesome.nVery friendly and attentive without being overbearing or interrupting us.nWe had the small Kria Poikilia appetizer.nI had the Pork Souvlaki Dinner, my husband had the Lamb Souvlaki Dinner both come with Elliniki salad, rice, roasted potatoes and tzatziki.nEverything was outstanding! Absolutely delicious.nI can't believe how busy it was for a Tuesday, wow. We got there about 6pm and we're lucky we didn't have to wait long but those who came later had a bit of a wait. Just shows how good it is.nAlso you're not rushed by anyone to eat quick and go like some places I've been to. I'm a slow eater as I like to enjoy my food and company and didn't feel rushed in anyway. Thanks for thatnnOnly issue my husband had was he found the table we were at this time a little low for him and the shock at the $10 cost of a bottle of spring water, had he realized before he would have stuck with his ginger ale which is $5 but free refills *note for future visits lolnnAll in all was an outstanding experience with the most amazing food. The best Anniversary dinner we've had!nHighly recommend them
