My go-to spot in Greektown for cheap and tasty Greek food with enormous portions! The inside is nice and cozy although a bit dated, but you’re really coming here for the tasty food! I usually get their pork gyros meat platter with Greek salad and Greek fries, and honestly that is enough to feed 2 people. Portions are massive, both the main and sides are tasty, and the food comes quick! Service is friendly and fairly attentive though can be slow during busier times. Glad they’ve been around for so many years and hope they stay around for many more!
It was a nice family dinner at this restaurant in Greektown. We arrived at 5:10pm to avoid waiting for a table.nMy family recommended this place. It's my first time in Greektown. There are many lots to park nearby.nΜυκήνες is the Bronze Age of Greek civilization, the endless Peloponnesian plains.nI don't think I've ever had pita in Athens. I had a lot of grilled prawns and lamb.nI haven't seen any fix beer in Greece before.nIt was a good experience.
Having been going here since years! Food is good, service is basic and fast. Had the chicken gyro combination meal. It’s comes with a choice of ceaser or Greek salad. Choice of rice , roasted potato or fries and choice of 2 pita sandwiches. Prices at $24, very reasonable. We were 2 and paid $32 including HST and tips. Overall good experience
Probably is my favorite place for greek food and one of my favorite places to eat in Toronto or maybe is my favorite. Very delicious, nice menu, lots of flavors, delicious meat, nice and cold drinks, a perfect place to eat, and everything at a perfect price, excellent and quickly attention, hot food and delicious, and good atmosphere. My favorite of the menu is the combination.
I wonder what's the marketing strategy behind the wait time between salads/apps and receiving the main course.nnIt was an exact 40-minute wait. We had to ask the waiter to check on our food. I thought they would forget but no, other clients also had the same issue.nnFood is good-ish. Could have used more flavour. By the time we got our main meal, we were full from salad and free pita.nnSo if you don't mind, please serve faster. Note that the restaurant wasn't that busy and it was 6 pm on a Wednesday.
