Finally, a good Mexican restaurant. I lived in South Florida most of my life, you couldn't go more than a block or two without hitting an outrageously good Mexican or Cuban restaurant. Having moved to Mass just 4 years ago I have tried every place so far without any success at finding a good spot. It's one of my most favorite foods. I had honestly given up until just by chance I came here just for a margarita and a few tacos. OMG so so good. The margarita was so perfect I had a few and the tacos were top notch. The Salsa was right, EVERY place up here does a total junk job at the Salsa except for this place. We took down three refills of it. If I were to give any critic at all to management, buy taco holders to keep the food dryer although it wasn't a huge issue like at some places and also invest in fresh made flour tortillas I would pay an upgrade fee for them. Your tortillas were better then some places the fact you don't just offer corn is great but my favorite spots down south all did them fresh daily and the flavor they added was worth it. But this is now my favorite spot, ill be back time and time again. Wishing you great success!
The food here was amazing. Simply fantastic. This is the best Mexican place I have eaten at in a long time. The Margarita is very good too. Will say the food came out extremely quickly but still delicious all the same
Overall not the best, Floors were filthy, hostess was super rude and couldn’t be bothered to pay attention to us upon arrival. The food was also just sad, our chips were cold and our cheese dip came out cold as well. And the bread pudding was pretty rubbery. Wouldn’t recommend. The actual waitstaff are very nice and the restaurant patio itself pretty cool.
Went to Mezcal for lunch with my family ; I’ve been before and it was very good ! I will say the presentation of all the food was excellent ! The tacos got rave reviews! I got the Hawaiian Chicken Bowl and it was very good ; chicken in a sweet sauce with some greens; jasmine rice, a pineapple salsa verde and some avocado. My wife got the Tex-Mex bowl with shrimp which she really liked. The jewel of Mezcal has always been the guacamoles; we got the street corn, original and Mediterranean; all delicious and worth the trip ! Picture of Margaritas was also delicious ! Service was good. Place is a nice venue to have a meal , right across from the DCU Center.
First time here, about an hour before close after a concert up the street at Palladium. Seated quickly, order and got our food and drinks quickly I highly recommend the prickly pear margarita our waiter Tyler B. was attentive and nice, he even went out of his way to get an answer for me about one of their drinks which I really appreciated. If we’re ever in the area again, we will be stopping here again. Drinks were great, food was great
A good spot for a casual date or a family night out! The drink menu is absolutely huge, but our waitress was so helpful and we tried two types of tequila, both delicious, and ended the night with the housemaid sangria. The sangria tasted very watered down but otherwise was okay. The chips and salsa that came right away were a great start to the evening. The food was quite good - the fajitas came in a huge serving and the carne asada tacos were exactly as expected. Taste was good overall but nothing exceptional, I would still come back for dinner though! Have to say the service was excellent and there were lots of options for seats.
Came here for dinner, was in dire need of Mexican! We found it here. Decent food, but her quesadilla was quite small and plain looking. My Fajita was the first one that ever came to me not sizzling! It was pre-plated, but it did taste good. Wish it had lettuce and salsa. Our server, Ava T. did a pretty good job. There are a lot of restaurants in Worcester so I'm not certain that I would come back, but it wasn't horrible.
Nice tacos and good burritos. The bowls were also nice. Only dislike here is the over saltiness of some of the sauces/marinades they use.Food: 4/5
I have been here couple of times and have always had pleasant experience. Range of guacamole options must try and their tequila flights are great too!
Great food great service. Had the "Maker's Mezcal," and the "Steak and Cheese Chimichanga." Very good, would have again, would recommend. They also offer many different guacamoles and you can do sampler flights to try several at a time was great.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
