Soo much artisan selection and local products from spirits to cheese, condiments and meats. There is a lot to offer from this quaint deli located in the best trendy area. I bought a Christmas gift box and the system in place was very handy and simple: you could select the price range and the types of products you wished to have in the box. I am very pleased and this made Christmas shopping SO easy. The online ordering system is straight forward and simple as well. I’m so happy I’m basically neighbours to here - and extremely happy to see Strathcona Spirits products on the shelves!!
Never tried scrapple before so i have nothing to compare it to but I knew to make it for breakfast! The seasonings of the bison scrapple were the type of seasonings you would get in a breakfast sausage minus the heavy meat. It was good! I definitely needed a sauce, so out came the mustard, ketchup, and some jams! Definitely recommended to eat with a sauce if you try the Bison scrapple. The mustard will be good to bring to summer bbqs as an add in to the host gifts i usually bring. Mom always said never go to a bbq empty handed, so come to meuwly’s and make sure to buy something for the hosts!
Staff is friendly. The store has local products. We tried some meat. It's very good quality.
What a great event. Interesting cocktails, and the food all paired up really nicely. The charcuterie board was a work of art, and the turkey was perfect. A word to Peter, word will get out, and you'll end up hosting more than just a couple. SIGN ME UP FOR NEXT YEAR!
There is always something delicious and local waiting for me at Meuwlys. It's a treat to go in and see what I might find. On some special occasions, they do a smoked ham for pre-order and this is the best ham you will ever eat. These hams are to die for. Highly recommend you sign up for their emails so you can catch your chance to order one when they're available next.
We ordered a charcuterie board from Art of Charcuterie that operates within Meuwly's. This was a special treat for us as it is our anniversary. Diana prepared us the most amazing charcuterie box to enjoy at home. It was well priced for what we received. The box had a stunning presentation, most items were from Meuwly's and local sourced when possible. We may have a new option for special occasion meals.
Absolutely adore this place. It’s just up the street from where I work and has become one of my new favourite lunch places. Kind staff, good environment and great food. They’ve also curated great items, for example I was able to pickup my boyfriends favourite hot sauce that’s made in small batches from thunder bay Ontario here! They also have a great selection of pre-made soups, delicious sausages in various flavours, and apparently will have fresh herbs coming soon as well. I recommend stopping here for a bite to eat or just to grab something interesting to spice up your meal.
I ordered a grocery box in the early part of my quarantine and it was GREAT. I'm still eating items from it. Everything is local and amazing in particular, the sausage, cheeses, pickles, and salsa were really good. They also let me do some substitutions in my box and it came super fast. There were ice packs in the box so that nothing got warm even though it was delivered right to my door.
Great little shop with tons of gourmet local fare, the kind you find at farmers markets from local makers. Unique items such as beef bacon, bread and butter jalapeños, and kimchi Brussels sprouts have become staples. The deli meats are addictive! Highly recommend.
I really love this store! It’s such a hidden gem! Great selection of artisan food products and specialty items. Its also an excellent place to find gifts for that “foodie” in your life. Great Job!
