Very happy with the service here. Gentleman showed me how to fix my bike and how to use the tools I needed to do it. He insured that I didn't make any mistakes. Any help me pick out the perfect saddlebags
It was a totally treat to deal with this shop! I wish I had discovered it long ago. The owner was super helpful and friendly. And he explained everything to me in detail before I left my bike with him. He was also the kind of person who I could have stayed and chatted with all day. They did a great job and they did it much faster than the turnaround seems to be at most of the other shops nearby. When I picked it up, I was pleasantly surprised that the guy working that day I'm terrible at remembering names was just as nice and fun to talk to as the owner. When I rode my bike home, it felt like a brand new bike!!! As my bike had aged, I hadn't realized how much energy I was expending unnecessarily. Riding home was a dream. Obviously, like most people, I prefer giving my business to a place that does a great job. But for me, personally, I equally enjoy giving my business to people whom I like. This place ticked both those boxes.
I came to MetroCycleTO when I first moved to Toronto and haven't been anywhere else since. The staff is knowledgeable, their work is top-notch, and their pricing is exceedingly fair. They're also just a really nice group of people. When you go in for a bike repair and you actually leave having had a good time, that's saying something.
Brought in my 20 year old Brodie mountain bike for a tune-up. It was in a sorry state of hard riding and neglect. Happy to say it rides like new. The team at MetroCycle did an amazing job. Super quick and friendly….they are now my “go to”…highly recommend these guys..
The guy who helped me is Mark and he is the man. I got a flat tire about a block away and went in. He was speedy with the fix, so off I went. 15 mins later, I got another flat. Same tire. I called them back and Mark said no worries, come back and we’ll take another look. He was so nice and patient with me. We looked at things together and he was giving me lessons on everything related to tires that I actually learned a ton. While we both were a bit stumped as to why I got two flats so fast, he gave me a lot to consider and think about I ride my mountain bike in the city. He then repaired the inner tube again and didn’t charge for the second flat. I left in good spirits and having learned a few things. If you meet Mark, you’re in good hands.
I've wanted a bike for several years now, but I waited because I was too intimidated and shy to try it in such a chaotic city. Even so, I decided to finally give it a shot from this local shop, and I'm very pleased! I'm in love with my bike and I can't wait to ride it along the lake every day! The store staff were very friendly and understanding to me and my needs. They made me feel welcomed and not so scared. I wasn't sure what to get for my bike since it had been a while, so they helped me pick out everything, and even gave me a free bike pump! They also helped to install everything the bike rack and pannier, and politely answered any questions I had. I don't understand the negative reviews at all, I would definitely recommend going here for any of your biking needs! Thank you so much!
Purchased a bike from MetroCycleTO and couldn't have been more impressed by the service provided. Gordon took his time to educate me on what I was looking for and I left feeling confident in my purchase. Hands down the best bike shop west side of Toronto! Stopped by a couple days ago to get a quick tune up and was in/out within a couple of minutes. Highly recommend checking this place out!
MetroCycle is just great. Their service is consistent, kind and fast. They take the time to teach me things about my bike as its being serviced. My go-to shop, I get my bike back quickly, and pay an affordable price.
Soo bad service. I just went there to buy a bike pump. I told him I will definitely buy the pump. The guys in the store started showing attitude and not willing to help. Just because I brought in an e-scooter. So disappointed by my neighborhood's only bike repair shop...I had high expectations.
Super helpful and honest guys. The owner was extremely patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. Didn't try upsell at all or sell me anything that I didn't come in for. Will definitely be buying my next bike here.
