Always has nice fresh produce and freshly prepared salads and hot meals and sandwiches. I use them often for fresh fruit platters for birthdays and holidays. They often have good deals on meat, especially in the summertime on steaks for BBQ/grilling. They are not always the least expensive, but the quality makes up for it.
The store has worst staff ever.nNobody is responsible after 5pm in store for assistancenDoesn’t matter if any customer is waiting at bakery 30 -40 minutes but there breaks are way important than customers’s time.nThey dont care.
Wraps and sandwiches are never in stock any more. Everything else is overpriced compared to any other grocery store.nnRude employees. Asked to break down my $20 bill after my purchase and was told to go to a bank. Should fire the bitter old lady working there.
Experience yesterday. Called to order 2 panazorottis. Clear from attendant that this was a bother. No customer service skills what so ever. To then arrive 30 mins later and one of them they burnt the crust on affecting the flavour terribly.nDisappointing considering the food was great quality. The experience simply means. Move to a store that recognizes it. customers as a value not a burden.
The Deli's panini's 4 for $12 exceeded our expectations for an event we held this past weekend. I wasn't sure how it would go over, but the man I chatted with in the deli department assured me they would be great. He was right-- We had really happy people who loved their panini because:n1 it wasn't pizza that we typically serven2 the buns were incredibly fresh...that got everyone talkingn3 they tasted really great and were easy to put on a platternnIt saved us $400 in comparison to a quote for feeding 60-70 people from another local sandwich shop--and were a big hit. We bought our own condiments and toppings, and ended up well under budget. We will work with Metro again in the future for sure!
