I've been going here since I was 16, and I have never had a bad experience. This past visit was the best one yet. Check in was fast and easy. I was able to look at glasses while I waited and give my choice to an associate before even having my eye exam. After hearing my name's called a pleasant woman did the normal tests and made conversation with me. And am intern did the actual exam followed by the optometrist just to verify he had done good. I was back out and the lobby was busy with people picking up glasses or placing orders, but I was sat with the associate I had given my choice of glasses to and was quickly ready for checkout in the matter of 10 minutes. Overall the scheduling is very easy, the people who work here are pleasant, and the service is as expected.

Appointment experience was great, arrived early to check-in my teenage son which was completed quickly and efficiently, from there things went down hill rapidly. Standard practice to up-sell the "eye map" that they offer, supposedly fantastic but not so good that the insurance company sees the value in doing so. My son disappeared for an hour and fifteen minutes which for a standard eye exam is out of the ordinary, one of the staff went an inquired as to the hold up and came back offering an excuse of them being double booked etc and offered a very insincere apology followed up by it isn't our fault, that kind off negates an apology News flash, if you schedule the appointments,then you are accountable for the timeliness of keeping them, basic respect would be to see you patients on time and not try to blame them for your own incompetence. As we couldn't wait any longer, I asked that they get my son so we can leave, after we left my son explained that the issue was the optometrist was actually not an optometrist but rather an intern who clearly didn't know what he was doing and that what was took so long. I've had previous medical appointments where I have been asked if I would mind an intern/resident be allowed in the room, could they do the exam etc, perfectly fine by me if you ask and don't assume I want to train someone on my time and dime I did receive a follow up call form the owner, he was completely unwilling to own up to the issue, repeatedly told me that despite having an email conformation stating the optometrist name and time that I was wrong, and that they weren't obligated to provide that person and were free to sub an intern, basically we will do what we want and you will accept it. I'm sorry that doesn't fly with me, I've lodged a complaint with our insurance company and will never set foot in the place again.

The Doctor and Technician were professional and thorough in their exam. They have the latest technology in the field. I was very pleased with the service. The optician was also professional and helpful in my selection of glassses for my prescription. I will use their practice for all my future needs.

Merrimack Vision Care sent me an e-mail reminding me that I was due for my annual eye exam. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had Saturday hours so I did not have to take time off of work for the appointment. When I arrived there was an issue finding my insurance plan, and the administrative assistant there searched for several minutes looking for the plan. Her efforts finally paid off and I greatly appreciated her effort. They took me in on time, and completed the appointment quickly and thoroughly. I recommend them highly.

I just switched eye doctors and chose MVC due to its location near me. The staff is very friendly. There was almost zero wait time when I showed up for my appointment. The doctor got me into a new pair of contacts easily without having to do a million "which one is better, 1 or 2". I would definitely recommend NBC. It's easy to see that they are the clear choice. 🤣
