My friend highly recommended Jenny to me for hair coloring and perm. I ended up getting a perm with her and the result was amazing. Jenny is very detail oriented and skilled. She took the time to check my hair condition and provided me with professional advice on what kind of perm I should be going for based on my hair type.The whole process was easy and I felt comfortable putting my trust in her. Had my hair cut and coloured by Blake at Mentor. The colour turned out fantastic and the haircut looked amazing. Blake was attentive and very detailed through the whole process. I asked at their counter and was told kids pricing for age 10 & 12 are 30%off the regular price of the stylist. When I call them to make the appointment was told the same regards to kids pricing. When we show up for the appointment, they refused to give me kids pricing cuz my kids were taller than the front desk counter and that’s how they determined kids pricing. BOTH TIMES IN PERSON AND ON THE PHONE THEY SAID NOTHING ABOUT THE HEIGHTS!!! I feel I was put on the table since my kids were excited about the hair cut. Then they told me it will be $62 & $57 since one of the hair stylist had more experience. When I was paying, they charge me both $62‍ I was already annoyed I didn’t even ask why anymore. Regards to the miss leading kids pricing they just said sorry that nothing they can do. They told me to go to the entrance of the mall to snap a picture of their poster that I can get 10% off. I was like really? Can’t you just give me 10% off since I was actually told 30% off for kids cut?? I did went to take a picture of it and they did give me 10%off WITHOUT LOOKING AT THE PICTURE I TOOK. I feel like a fool. It was ridiculous. Besides all that drama, Stylist Jenny & Blake was really good, I was really happy with the hair cut they gave my kids. Definitely administrative work need to be more consistent.

I went to this salon during a short trip in Vancouver and had my hair cut by a handsome young guy named Blake. Although I was a bit nervous to get my hair cut in a different country, he made me feel very comfortable and made sure I knew what to expect before the cut, and also that I was satisfied afterwards. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the outcome. I highly recommend this salon and this stylist and would definitely come back!

Apparently they have different hair stylists, the more experienced the more expensive. They have I believe 5 prices one more expensive than the other. Immediately the desk lady says and points to not first price, not second price but third price for cut with a "Master" stylist, let's call him Blake. Horrible haircut. It was $70. I called to say I want a recut, they say stylist is away atm will call when he gets back. Never received a phone call. Never trust a stylist who has bad haircut themselves...
