Memorial Park

It's a nice park with a renovated playground. I've been there several times, but this time in Canada day. It was amazing. There were a lot of food trucks, and in the end, the fireworks were incredible.nOn July 19th, 2024, Symphony Under the Stars was held in Memorial Park. It was a free event and was amazing. We had another great experience in this park.

Attended the 2024 Strawberry Festival even though it rained a little it was super fun! It's a huge park.nnAlso attended the symphony under the stars featuring the Kindred Spirits Orchestra. The park is truly a great venue for all sorts of events. Stouffville is really community focused and I hope that continues.

So many different and fun things to do in one park! The surface is wood chip based. A super tall but safe main climbing structure with a twisty tube slide from the top. Multiple levels of other slides leading up to the big one. Different types of climbing to get on to the main structure as well as a lower ramp portion. Two big swings and two baby ones along with a disc swing that's a bit high off the ground than what we're used to seeing. Lots of wobble sit ons. A smaller rope climbing frame. One low circular rope net that also spins. Also has monkey bar like area with a sliding portion. Last but not least there is a small musical installation, some with attached soft hammers, on different forest themed metal pieces leaves, mushrooms, etc. It's all very colourful, and a bit of something for everyone feels like. Right next to a little stream with a bridge that leads over to an open grass field. Great place for kids!

Went for the Mediterranean Festival! Great event, very well organized! The playground was pretty cool and next level for kids. What my biggest take away, is the all seasons stage they had for events - I wish Ottawa had some in our parks too!
