The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville is one of the jewels of the GTA, located just north of Toronto on highway 404. We are a community rich in heritage and character and we are committed to offering our residents and businesses a ‘Country Close to the City’.

Whitchurch-Stouffville Town Council meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month (schedule is subject to change). All Council meetings are held in the Municipal Offices, Council Chambers. Meetings are open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend and participate. A schedule of meetings can be found on our website. In addition to regular Council meetings, a number of other meetings are held in the Council Chambers including Public Information Centres and Public Planning Meetings.

Whitchurch-Stouffville's Municipal Offices not only serves as a government function, but also offers a variety of services such as marriage licenses/ceremonies, pet licensing, recreation programs, facilities and more.

The ABSOLUTE WORST plows I have ever seen. They purposefully plow the snow on your driveway, blocking any access from the garage to the road.  Multiple complaints have been made in my neighborhood and no one listens, or responds. Completely tone death. The day when an ambulance can't access a home because of their stupidity, they will learn. HORRIBLE.

Here is 5 stars to help offset the person giving this awesome town 1 star for trying to celebrate Winterfest with fireworks.  He is upset because the invasion in Ukraine was happening at the same time.  What was and is happening there is terrible and I don't mean to downplay the atrocities there, but if you wait for world peace to celebrate anything then you will never celebrate anything at all.  Also, to suggest the town of Stouffville would celebrate a bombing is nasty.  That review should be removed. Stouffville is a great town, don't put it down for trying to host events for the people.

Stouffville Teva Car show 2019 Great show!  Cars, trucks and even motor cycles. Great 'open'  environment for all to come see and explore. This is definitely a great place to mingle and talk with all the owners. The owners are very interested to chat and show off their prize mobiles. Don't worry ladies if not truly interested in the wheels there is more eye candy then you can handle.

Very unsympathetic town dept. They made a mistake in August and so I thought date withdrawal is now the 29th. They sent zero notice that this was just an error. In oct, I miss the payment and they charge 48 dollar fee for it. They won't budge and I wanted to escalate but they said it's part of the bylaws. Shouldn't it be part of bylaws to send out notification of errors?

I am horrified by the fireworks staged by the town on 19 March 2022. What was being celebrated? The bombing of Mariupol? Spend the money on today's latest refugees and celebrate when there is peace.

Horrible, just horrible resident website for water & property tax portal. I spend tremendous time searching for the login section that is nowhere to be found. At least use the funds property and hire a reputable company to design the site.

Not a good experience nothing is straightforward any kind of service cost money one person doing 5 persons job and always behind in tasks.

They need to change their bylaw rules.

Awesome staff. Very helpful in person or on the phone.

People need to relax. Stop screaming at Landscapers
