I've been coming here since ~2007. I love my primary care doctor, Dr. Kraemer, she is the absolute BEST! I know am expecting my first child and am seeing Christine Kern Steffen, CNM (Certified Nurse Midwife). She is exceptional as well. I trust her expertise and feel comfortable and safe in her care. I look forward to our delivery with her!

I love this clinic. I have met with all the doctors and love them all. I recommend these doctors to everyone I know who is looking for a place to go. They are always extremely caring and easy to talk to. The nurses were always there to answer any questions I had and never made me feel like they were stupid questions. I am so happy to be a patient there and will continue to go there.

I wish my experience was as good as the others. I didn't feel like the doctor I met with was listening to me or interested in my issues at all. I had to tell the same story multiple times and still most tests needed were not run. I attempted to communicate via the patient portal and was told I would need to track down the doc with follow up questions via phone. What is the patient portal for then? One way communication for convenience for the clinic? We all know how hard it is to track down a doctor when you call the office and nobody wants to play phone tag regarding their health. I found a new doctor at the UW Health Fitchburg clinic that is FANTASTIC and will communicate with me on my terms and time. What a novel idea! It gets better - I paid my Phases bill in full hoping to forget their business and my experience all together as quickly as possible. I recently received a letter indicating I had a past due balance. I called the # on the letter and got a generic billing call center. I spoke with the gal and tried to help her understand my account and the billed amounts, but she indicated she couldn't figure out why I got the letter and would need help reviewing my account. HERE IS THE KICKER - she asked me to call her back in 5 days. WHAT? I have to call back again? Certainly not a user friendly, customer focused organization. It's a shame...

The doctors are very nice but the desk staff leaves something to be desired, and there seems to be a very serious communication problem between the doctors. Between the frequent last minute canceling and rescheduling of appointments, and one doctor scheduling my wife to be induced and then another cancelling the day of. It just seems like it's very unorganized. I understand that birthing a baby is not an exact science but a little more communication would be nice.
