Been going there for over 10 years. This is not a place that cares about your mental well being. Constantly threatening me. Whatever happened to first, do no harm. Stay away if you can. I surely will. But will take further actions against them. Document everything. Disgusting place.

Although I have been switched from one Psychiatrist to another, 5 times in 6 year's. I have to say that 4 of them had MY best interests at heart! And I've gone through 4 therapists... but am happy with my current one! BJ is helping me do good things in my current & past situations! But, STAY FAR AWAY FROM A PERSON BY THE NAME OF DR. (WHAT A JOKE!) THAKOR!! She put me on soo much crap, at OVER MAXIMUM DOSES!!! It's taken 3 year's, & counting, to get my meds better regulated!!! Thanks to their very competent Director of Psychiatry... she helped a lot! If you EVER have a gripe... just speak up or fill out a complaint form!!! You will be heard!!! Eventually... LOL! They are VERY BUSY people there!!!! Even the receptionists/schedulers are nice people!!! Don't listen to the nay sayers... they just rate them negatively because their bitter!!!

What an absolute joke this place is! It does not matter if you have an issue or not, you could have literally not have had a drink in a decade, they will refer you to some form of treatment. It will be in the form of some sort of counseling, driving safety or classes. It even literally says this will happen to you on the first piece of paper they give you after paying their ridiculous fee. This is after you have had to pay them their $300 fee. Sitting down with one of their "counselors" is completely pointless because it does not matter who you are and if you legitimately have no issue YOU WILL GET FURTHER TREATMENT. This place is nothing but a swindle.

Journey is a joke. Trying to actually talk to someone is nearly impossible. You can leave a message and possibly get a response but it's not likely if the message is left with Outpatient Services. If you need to speak to a nurse they should transfer your call to a nurse not someone else who will then transfer you to a nurse if you even get an answer after the first transfer. The therapists seem to be wonderful but that's the only good thing I found so far. Med providers come and go and when told to schedule the next available appointment it should not be 5 months out. My son went inpatient and it was still impossible to get him an appointment even though that was part of the discharge plan when he came home. Mental health is a serious issue and having to wait for services can create larger issues. The rights of MANY clients are being violated and I encourage EVERYONE to speak up and contact the client's rights specialist. Maybe we can get results!
