Food was really good. I recommend the Avocado Toast. What made the places so fantastic was the street view from above. I wasn’t too big of a fan of the red pepper sauce on the salad I ordered but overall the experience was great. My brother ordered a burger and enjoyed it. Next time I am going to try the Egg’s Benedict!
I love the new location, lovely views and spacious. We came for breakfast around 10 am on a Sunday morning. It was very quiet inside. We were seated promptly and our orders were taken. The food was delicious and the portions were great. The server was friendly and prompt. Overall we had a great breakfast at Melissa’s MisSteak.
Great food and nice value. I ordered the prime rib Benny and it sure is a blast. Meat is so tender and great taste. Eggs are little cooked. The Swiss apple pancake is yummy too. I would order adult menu to share rather ordering from the kids menu coz the kids menu is rather simple and drinks have to be ordered separately. There was a little mixed up of our orders but the server did his best to make it right. Great breakfast experience and we will definitely come again.
Went to go for breakfast while in Banff and the place we chose was so busy that there was the choice of a 35 minute wait or to go with the recommended business around the corner. Sorry we missed out on eating at Tooloulous but we went with staff recommendation of Melissa’s MisSteak Never had I ever thought that I would have received such a smorgasbord of a delicious breakfast from a bar! So much amazing food that it was overflowing on the plate. Would love to go back and try lunch and dinner menu The atmosphere was pleasant with a good feel vibe and there was great artwork all around; they even had swag for sale. Was hoping to pick up a new toque to add to my collection and scored big time If you are ever in Banff I highly recommend eating here
Awesome atmosphere, food was really good. Server was great and recommended places to see. Loved that they provided free wifi! We went in for breakfast and the menu was extensive! Such a good avocado toast that I could make vegan by asking, and ensuring it was good to go. The smoked salmon eggs benny - the salmon tasted like it was really fresh, sauce was super tasty and the egg over medium was cooked perfectly. Overall great experience. This place looks like it would be good for anytime of day! It looked like they have a stage for performances. Wouldn’t doubt this is the place to be at night or when something is going on here!
This place is more of a bar with live music than a place to eat a nice dinner. When we first arrived they were doing sound checks for that nights live performance. It was so loud we couldn't even hear each other even though we were sitting right next to each other. Two other parties left after they were seated due to the loud music. The food was not worth the price. There were flies flying around while we ate. The service was ok. If you are looking for a place to grab a drink and listen to good music this place is perfect but if it's dinner I would go somewhere else.
The food was pretty good! There weren't a lot of vegetarian options but what is available is good! The veggie burger was good as were the yam fries. I liked the food and the atmosphere but was disappointed we were not offered an option to be seated on the upper portion of the restaurant. Service is slower than expected. However, the staff is lovely!
We came here for my 45 birthday dinner and I can honestly say that food was outstanding. The stuffed Yorkies hands down my favorite and tasted just like home Chris was our waiter and he made the whe dinning experience. The staff were amazing and they made my birthday even better honestly I would drive the few hours Just to come eat here again. Chris deserves a raise for sure. He had us laughing the whole time. We will definitely be back and will definitely recommend this place.
I ended up getting breakfast here the two mornings I was in Banff. It's relatively quiet during breakfast time in the spacious dining room on the second floor. The staff were really attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious.
I miss the old place . But the new location is awesome the staff are real friendly The calamari was great as well as the dinner an the ice cream brownie is good too but it should be served on a different dish not on a mug, real warm vibe to this new location.
