OH...MY...GOD.... I've been to plenty of Chinese and Japanese restaurants and I am a picky when it comes to quality of food. It's not only about how a place represents itself by good interior design and sanitary practices (which is definitely important), but it's also about the pride that they take in the freshness, quantity, and above all, the quality of their food. Meiji is heads above its competition. We were so amazed by how savory and delicious both Japanese and Chinese cuisines were there this past weekend that we went back AGAIN (that's twice in one weekend)! It was very impressive the way they assembled the sushi, the great variety they had to offer, and the fish was top notch when it came to fresh and they were not stingy when it came to the size of the fish they used in the sushi! Easily the best sushi I have EVER had! The Chinese cuisine was equally outstanding. The portions were definitely worth the price and the food was made fresh! The veggies were steaming, the meat was moist and tender (not dried out at all), and every time we left with every taste bud and tummy fully satisfied. I think I have found a restaurant I'm in love with!

The food is great, I’ve had sushi and hibachi here and both were delicious. My dad has had some of their Chinese food and he also enjoys that. If you like any East Asian cuisine this is the place to be. The restaurant is relatively clean and stylish. It looks like a new modern Asian restaurant. The bathrooms leave something to be desired but between the food and customer service that is easily outmatched.

Service was horrible!!!!! Our server was very annoyed that my husband and I were splitting an entree and and appetizers! She had quite the attitude. We ordered beef and peppers and the beef was like chewing rubber! This past summer we had Hibachi and it was great entertainment and amazing food! We thought we would be having the same great food last night, but not the case! I can’t decide which was worse, the service or the food, yuck!

Overall a nice place. On Tuesdays they have buy one get one sushi which is a great deal. The hibachi grill is also good. We had a large party go there for lunch and they did a good job getting or food and drinks to us quickly. Overall I would suggest this restaurant to others.

I've been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal or poor service. The sushi has always been fresh and flavorful, infact Meiji's has been my favorite place to get sushi since I first visited here. The hibachi has always been entertaining and a favorite for my children who are now young adults and frequent here as well. Plenty of choices for vegetarians. It is quite pricy here but if you have the spare change it is WELL worth the visit and you will not be disappointed.
