Machine Shed Restaurant Pewaukee

Went for the brunch buffet. This was my first time going here as well. There was about a 30 minute wait for a party of four but it was well worth the wait. Our waitress was very friendly and personable with us. The food was very good, I just wish I could have eaten more! Definitely worth checking out. Small bonus, they have a shop around the entrance with a lot of cool stuff to look at! Though a lot tends to be a bit on the pricey side.

My first and last time dining at the Machine Shed restaurant. Our server was very nice and helpful, but our soup was lukewarm, the coffee was lukewarm and the steak was incredibly dry. Our server did bring back the soup, but it was warmed up again. I expected a brand new bowl of piping hot soup. The dining room was incredibly drafty as well, which made our food cool off faster and it also made me feel cold while eating. I did enjoy my soup after it was warmed up, but after this experience and reading reviews of similar experiences, I doubt I'll be back again.

This was my first and last visit to the Machine Shed. I had heard so many good things about it but things must have changed. it started with my silverware wrapped in the most wrinkled napkin I have ever seen. I was with a party of 5 other people and my sister-in-law said the menu had changed since she was there last and several of the dishes she had hoped to choose from were no longer offered for lunch. My brother-in-law mentioned that they no longer offered the bread as before and even asked the waitress about it. She said no, there was nothing she could do about it. I was hoping to get a fish meal but the only seafood offered was a shrimp dish. I settled for the French onion soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. The soup was warm at best and not very tasty and the grilled cheese sandwich tasted burnt although it looked fine. I can only guess that there was something burned on the grill or the grill was not properly cleaned. The only good part of the meal was the sweet potato fries. I won't be going back. There are too many other places to get a good meal.

I would not come back here for the fish fry. Decent prices, however. Was going to be a 2 star but even with the desert it came in at a good price. I can think of other restaurants I'd gladly pay more for instead.

Mixed experience. We were visiting from out of town. My food (pictured) was amazing. I had the raisin dressing stuffed pork chop and it was to die for. So was my dessert, the bourbon white chocolate bread pudding. My daughter, however, got COLD macaroni and cheese. I’m wondering what kind of culinary staff can handle that pork chop but can’t make sure a kids dish is warm enough to serve? I really wanted to rate this place higher, as mine and most of my family’s meals were good. But bottom line, serving cold macaroni and cheese to my daughter is unforgivable by any standards.
