DONT EVER ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT ITS A STRAIGHT SCAM I ORDERED FOOD AND I DID NOT GET MY FOOD AFTER WAITING AN HOUR $50 WASTED FOR NOTHING ILL BE VISITING YOU GUYS AT YOUR RESTAURANT TOMORROW
Ordered for delivery, the driver did not give the order at the correct location & the food was lost. Did not offer any form of communication as to where or when the food was delivered - not recommended.
If I could leave negative points I would. You only go here at the end of the a bar night. I will never do so again. They are liars. They took my money and didn't deliver my order. I placed an order on October 14, 2016, at about 11:10pm through Skip The Dishes. I was advised the time of delivery would be, at the latest, 12:20. At 12:30 when my order hadn't arrived, I tried to reach the restaurant. No one answered the phone. I continued to wait. I finally reached someone at the restaurant just before 1:00am. They didn't know where my order was and said they would get back to me. They called me back to say it would be here in 10 minutes. I felt that it had been forgotten about and that they were just now preparing it. At that point I cancelled my order and the Restaurant advised that I would have to contact Skip The Dishes for a refund. Low and behold, when I contacted Skip the Dishes, I was advised that the Restaurant had to agree to a reimbursement. Apparently the Restaurant told Skip they had attempted a delivery and therefore refused to reimburse me. When I followed up again, they changed their story and said it was a successful delivery. By they way, it was a quiet night at home, so it's not like I was drunk and didn't hear the door. I was waiting for it, no delivery was every made. So, in all, Meg's is Liars and Skip the Dishes is no help. All over $31.72.
I ordered delivery through Skip. The food was good. However, it took 2 HOURS to get the food. TWO WHOLE HOURS. According to the Skip website, the food was going to take 30-50 min, but when I actually put in the order, it showed estimate time of 50 to 80 minutes. I ordered at approximately 12:20 AM and about 5 minutes later, they phoned me saying they are out of beef biryani, which I ordered 2 of. So I cancelled one and switched the other one to mutton. Then I didn't hear anything for a long time so I phone them at around 1:40 AM. They said they had trouble with the delivery car and that they had to remake the food. This is the part that got me EXTREMELY UPSET. If such thing were to happen, the right thing to do as a restaurant is to phone the customer and see if they still want the order. I am sure they would not have told me if I did not phone. Anyway, I asked how much longer the food was going to take, they said 15 to 20 minutes. So I waited again. The food did not arrive 25 minutes after the phone call so I phoned them for the second time, and they said the food should be here soon. This was at approx. 2:05 AM and the food did not get here til 2:23. I will never put in a delivery order with them ever, but may go to dine in as the food was good. In summary, I am very disappointed with their level of customer service. I would like to go in to see how their in-house service is.
Food was pretty good. Many other people reviewing here didn't seem to have luck with service, but I disagree. Our waiter was readily available and was really pleasant. Food was really good considering other options for places that are open past midnight. One star taken off for the venue though; the place seems a little worn down and could use an upgrade. Aside from that, it was overall a good experience
Came here at 2:30 AM for a late snack, expectations were low as it was super late, but still, was extremely disappointed in both the food and service. Ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer for 10.99, and received only 4 sticks on top of a bed of browned lettuce, with an expired tasting side of marinara sauce. Also ordered a kebab, which had very artificial tasting meat and was generally low quality in both taste and appearance. Plus, the waitress didn't even come once to check on the table or refill water. Even though it was extremely late at night, this type of service and food quality is inexcusable and I will not be coming back.
I love Meg's! Meg is great and knows us when we come in. The food is always delicious and comes pretty quick since this isn't a fast food place. The food always tastes fresh and you can tell they care. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is the hours. It says they're open 24 and they used to be bit lately they never seem to be open so it's a real inconvenience, but a great treat when we drive by and they are open.
I ordered mutton biriani yesterday at 10pm and I was told to pick up after 20 minutes. I was forced to pay cash then they agreed to take credit card and placed the order. After reaching over there at 10:25pm I was calling them and they didn't receive my call!!! I called from a different number and they pick up the call and surprisingly they were asking for cash again! Guess what happened! Yes I didn't get my food and they hang up the call! They waste my 30 minutes time and I drove from centre mall 8th street to there place and didn't get my food!!! Such a ridiculous service they are providing. Definitely will not recommend to anyone go over there. Don't waste your money and time please. They don't even worth for 1 star rating but unfortunately this the lowest rating I can choose.
This place was absolutely DISGUSTING. The food was AWFUL. The service was terrible. Took 2 hours to get our food! I have never been so disappointed in a food service in my entire life, if it was possible to give less then one star I would, I got food poisoning from this garbage and couldn’t even finish the meal, the burger was rubbish and the fries were so stale, I’m still sick from it and it’s been two days. Absolutely horrendous.
Took 2 hours for me food to arrive. I live a 10 minute drive away. Food was gross and cold. Guy on phone said sorry and blatantly lied to me about calling. The consistency of poor service has been around for years. Will not be ordering megs again even if it is the only place open. Save your money.
