Story

Established in 1969, Meals on Wheels prepares and cooks hundreds of meals each day, which are then delivered to clients throughout Edmonton.

Mission

Edmonton Meals on Wheels is a not-for-profit organization that relies on volunteers to provide nutritious meals which promote health, well-being and independence for our clients.

Products

HOT MEAL PROGRAM
The program that started it all! Edmonton Meals on Wheels can provide a hot nourishing meal for those who want to maintain or regain their strength, and continue a healthy lifestyle, which is enhanced by eating a nutritious meal. All meals are given special attention to make sure we are minimizing salt, reducing fat, yet still maintaining flavour.

CHEF'S CHOICE FROZEN MEALS
The Meals on Wheels Chef's Choice frozen meal program is designed to provide healthy and tasty meals, soups and desserts for people who want the freedom and flexibility to dine when they want and eat what they want. With over 30 meals, soups and baked goods, we are sure that you can find something appealing.

LUNCH CLUB CATERING
Delicious, healthy meals served home-style or individually packaged are delivered wherever you like for your next get-together with friends or co-workers.

THE GROCERY BAG™
"The convenience of a corner store delivered to your door."
This grocery delivery service helps get groceries to people who cannot shop on their own.

NUTRITION & COOKING WORKSHOPS
There are two different programs available which give you access to a Registered Dietitian and the opportunity to learn about nutrition.
