I had my cat Null put down here in late 2020. I’d asked on the phone to be able to see her beforehand and say a goodbye; I got handed her roughly while she was under anesthesia regardless, under the excuse she’d been aggressive; she was barely able to walk. The male vet was extremely condescending the whole time, and very nonchalantly said ‘yeah, she’s gone.’’ When I asked if she’d passed, and made a comment about how if she’d been vaccinated against feline leukaemia it could have been prevented; I’d said when I found out the rescue had said she already was. I was made to leave out a side door after her body was roughly shoved into a bag, and the bill was absurd. they also to upcharge me to have her cremated, and the 70 dollars for the bag. Zero empathy, and an awful experience; go somewhere where they actually care.
I called to get my daughter's cat looked at. They said they weren't taking new patients, but I told them I had been there less than a year ago for my cat's bladder disease which unfortunately there was nothing that could have been done for her and she was in pain and only had days to live. They said that she had to be put down to end her suffering. After this horrible news, I agreed and they had put her down and I had a huge bill! Anyways they said I was still not a patient of theirs because this was counted as an emergency and I could only have our kitty seen if we did it as an emergency which costs way more than a regular visit!. I found them to be very unsympathetic and money hungry! Other than that the clinic is clean and the staff was pleasant while I was paying.
Really amazing vets here. They really go the extra mile to ensure your pet is healthy and well cared for.
I usually take my dogs to the sister clinic, Highview, which is closer to home. However, with the shortage of vets in NWO, I'm happy to go to where the vet is. I didn't have to wait, service was prompt and the vet phoned me right away owners aren't allowed in currently. The lady who came out to let my dog in and bring him back was very pleasant. Very pleased.
2006 we got a one year old cat and had everything done for her at the Meadows animal clinic Now in 2022 our cats health started failing Got in to see Dr. Peterson Unfortunately due to the issue's affecting her due to her age ,there was not alot the clinic could do to help give her a good quality of life My wife and I decided that it was best she did not suffer Dr. Peterson, the vet technician sorry I forget her name and the staff in the waiting area handled the situation with caring and compassion We thank you all
Vaccination appointment took a while to get in, but very prompt and thorough with all my queries about my pet hand off due to covid-19 stay at home order. Be sure to be exact with what medications you want and the amount you need. Great communication by everyone there!
I was referred to Meadows from a friend a couple years ago, and I've been bringing my pets there ever since. The staff are extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. They are great with all my pets, and their prices are reasonable to boot! Definitely my vet clinic of choice.
Defense there are really good with your animals I have no problems with them
