Me + Crepe

This place always looked sketchy, but intriguing, since it's beside BBT cafe. When we were recommended by a student to try it out, we had to go at least once. The interior and the menu are not only well designed, but very aesthetic. I love the lighting and the music. The customer service was beyond excellent! The waitress was not only kind and helpful, but she even told the chef to split a food to we can all share. I was so moved that she thought on our behalf. She even have 3 spoons for one lunch set. The only thing I don't like is how expensive the crepes are. I can't believe we spent $60 for basically 3 crepes. But asides from the ridiculous price, this is a nice place if you're in the area.

I’ve always loved Me + Crepe, the food here is sooo great! Love this location because the downtown one I use to go is too tiny, no proper sitting, this location has proper sittings, and a large store front. I took 1 star off because everything they use here for their food and water, is one time use only: onetime use plastic bowl, even spoon see the 1st picture, I asked for water, and the water came in a paper cup, even for dinning in, not take out. I will remember to take my own bowl, spoon, and water bottle when I crave for Chinese breakfast.

I love Chinese crepes but this was the most disappointing crepe I've had. I ordered the HK BBQ duck + pork, or it was more like BBQ duck + rocks. Pork was hard as rocks, if not harder. Hence, inedible; I had to pick them all out. I thought they were bbq'ed to a crispy texture but nope. Picture-wise may look ok, but don't be fooled; I couldn't even rip them apart with my hands. I wanted to like this place because I love guo zi Chinese crepes and no other place specializes in it. But I literally had to go elsewhere for another lunch that day. This review is based on my experience few months ago. I thought I'd revisit and have another opinion before I review, but haven't had a chance to go back yet?.

The crawfish crepe is fine, a bit soggy. The cold noodles tastes like nothing except a bit salty. It does not have enough sauce.

It tastes quite good. I only managed to get take-out and it took quite a while to get to my place. It could have affected the taste a bit.

Beaware this is Chinese northern style flavory and meaty crepe. This is a chain restaurant and depend on which one you go to, you get different service & food quality. This specific one for some reasons got our orders wrong few times during our visits. We've been there 3 times, the second time they forgot to add meat in my crepe, and the third time they forgot to add spicy sauce... But crepes are still delicious.

Tastes good, portions were big. We had the golden tuna and "new beef" crepes. Kind of oily but most crepes of this style are already oily. Service is not great though, they forgot my order for lamb crepe and weren't even apologetic about it. So if you don't speak Mandarin then you are basically rolling the dice on your order.

I was ecstatic when I was driving by and saw that there was a Me+Crepe in Kerrisdale. Service definitely not as good as the Richmond one. Stood there for over 10 min to get anyone to take my order with the staff staring at me when I was trying to get their attention. There was a mom and daughter dining in, one guy waiting for takeout, one Fantuan delivery guy. All who have clearly ordered already. Menu is limited in comparison to the Richmond location. Richmond staff would be busily working while taking orders and acknowledging your presence as you enter the door. Price was also a scam. Outside and menu inside indicated $12.99 for Mix + Match 2 meat selection. When I had to pay, my total was $18.99. If there's a COVID price increase, indicate it. Staff who took my order also barely understood English even when I pointed to the menu on what I wanted to order. Good thing I could speak some Mandarin or that interaction would have lasted forever and probably would've ended up in charades. Kerrisdale is a multicultural neighbourhood that I do understand has a lot of Mandarin speakers. BUT there are plenty of English only speakers as well. If I ever crave this, Im going back to Richmond - which is unfortunate because I live nearby this location. Food was decent but I'm sticking with my basic spam and egg one next time if I come here.

Service was non existent. Food was extra extra spicy when I ordered mild. And the Drink was missing. Rude staff. Go somewhere else to spend with your money, don't reward incompetence.

Blown away with how good this crepe was! I built my own, and it was on point. Definitely will visit again. Don't have pics of it because I ate it too quick!
