They are the only medical clinic near me opening on Thanksgiving day. Lifesaver! Receptionist is kind and professional. She’s crazily busy but you can tell she’s trying her best to help everyone! The nurse is super nice and also the doctor. A great experience for sure! Thank you for being willing to open on holidays!
Arrived at 7:50 pm from a far distance away. Clinics page states it’s open until 9pm There were only 2 people in the waiting room The receptionist said they are closing soon and I have to come back tomorrow morning. …also she wasn’t friendly about it. If your clinic is so quick to turn people away when you are open for over an hour longer maybe take the time to update your website. Say something like “no longer accepting Patients would be convenient”
If I could put zero stars, I would. When I started at this clinic when it was newer, I had fairly positive experiences but I feel nowadays, this is a case of a “bit too big for their britches”. It’s impossible to call and get hold of anyone, don’t even try. I want to do a walk in, which they advertise as being a walk in clinic? Good luck! They don’t take them 90% of the time anymore and there’s no way of knowing until you’ve wasted your time going there since you can’t call. I suggested they put online what the days and times are for walk ins and they refused, said it’s up to the individual doctors. Cool. I have a family doctor here and it takes forever to get in to see her or even do a phone consult and when I get that, I’m stuck dealing with her assistant and am lucky if she sees me. I don’t recommend and will be looking elsewhere for a new family doctor as well as walk in.
I had to give 1 star but would give zero if I could. Scheduled an appointment to meet with a physician for my 2 daughters in December, the appointment was for the end of January. Our appointment time was 11:15am. At 11:45 we still hadn’t been called so I asked the admin staff if they knew how long it would be as I had to return to work and my daughters to school. I was told that there were no available exam rooms and that I would have to wait. 10 additional minutes and I asked again, by this time it was lunch and most of the staff had left the desk. I was told that the doctor was still seeing patients and there was no estimate on time. We left as we had other commitments. I don’t understand why a physician would be accepting new patients when they are clearly overbooked to begin with. I’m used to waiting 10-15 minutes for my primary physician but waiting 40min with no end in sight is ridiculous. The staff were rude and did not try to fix the situation by either offering an explanation for the delay or to schedule an appointment for another day. Our search for a physician continues.
I call today Monday January 31 at 7pm. No one picked up. When I went online they say they at capacity. If it supposed to be a walk in clinic and they do not take walk ins. So I tried 2 more times no answer I understand that sometimes the receptionist is busy. But how am I suppose to make an appointment when no one will pick up the phone. Because it is mo longer a walk in This has happened to me more than once. It never used to be that. It was at one time a really good clinic for service. Makes me very sad.
Worst clinic in Calgary. I went there yesterday, Sunday November 27th at 6 pm - They close at 8 pm! I was having an asthma attack & didn’t have an inhaler, I needed a doctor to help me & the receptionist refused me! She wouldn’t even go ask a doctor to help me! I was literally standing there dying & got turned away even tho the clinic was empty & still open for two hours! The pharmacist at London Drugs ended up saving my life. Do not go to this clinic! Absolutely unreal what I experienced yesterday. My rating is MINUS five stars. This clinic should be shut down.
0 STARS, rude receptionists and faulty business hours! I walked in around 6:30PM with a 102° fever hoping to see a doctor. The receptionists told me they were closed with no doctors yet their hours were until 9 PM and the door was open. They both had an attitude when I didn't leave fast enough, but being so sick I couldn't exactly rush out the door as quickly as humanly possible. Terrible service, and just rude. Ended up at Airdrie Urgent Care where I was seen very quickly.
My family Dr. works at this clinic but appointment times are limited so I decide to go as a walk-in. I am told if I come at 5 when he starts, I will get in to see him very quickly because he is my family Dr. That was not the case at all and I landed up waiting well over an hour to see him. During that time I found others were told the same thing. This is not professional and I also find the staff quite rude compared to what it used to be. OUR HEALTH CARE SYSTEM TRULY IS BROKEN!!
Brutal experience - you’re honestly better off going to a pharmacy. I went with very clear strep throat symptoms. Doctor barely took a look at my throat and told me I didn’t have it. I had to ask several times for a swab and he was hesitant to do even this. I visited a pharmacy on my way home at which the pharmacist conducted a rapid strep swab for $20.00. It came back very clearly positive and I was prescribed medication that evening. The doctor was inattentive and completely invalidated my symptoms and concerns. Horrible bedside manner. Save yourself the time and go elsewhere.
This clinic would have to be the worst one yet, if you care about your health I would recommend not coming here. I am very sick with the flu so I didn’t come for walk in instead I called so I could get my doctor to write me a prescription for medication. I explained to the receptionist I am experiencing fever, sore throat, decongested lungs and a bad cough so I would need a prescription written and I am unable to come in because I wouldn’t want to infect others in the clinic. She tells me that the doctor is not in this afternoon without even asking me who my doctor is and continues to tell me to come to walk in tomorrow to see a doctor - mind you I am showing Covid/fly like symptoms this clinic is an actual joke and I am not surprised it has a 1 star rating overall. Please do better this is not okay
