A wonderful meal at McGill Faculty Club - so charming
Food was good. Service was prompt and friendly. The best part was the ambience. Very antique manor house. Steep beautiful staircases. Wonderful ceilings. I spend most time upstairs, but we came down to look at the main floor rooms because everyone was raving about them.
Amazing ballroom and reception room that will send you back in time and the cuisine is great !
Wow - what a great experience! Historic building, beautiful "nooks" to have side conversations and wonderful staff.
Gorgeous interior and stunning ballroom. I had the opportunity to have lunch here after a friend's PhD defence. If you have a connection with a faculty member, get them to take you here once for a meal once is probably sufficient.
Private club, must be part of the Faculty to go there, or be invited, or participating in some special event, like the Robert Burns Night. It is a nice old Victorian building. The interior is a must-see but it is not open to the public.
Locally sourced yummy meals. The lamb chops are delicious.
