Montréal is a truly international city. Walk down her streets. Talk to her people. The world is here--the tastes, textures, cultures, and beauty. In 1967 Montreal showed the world a vision of the future and invited the world to come and experience her vitality. We want to be apart of that excitement again. We want Montreal to remember that she was the place where artists imagined the future. Her islands were where the greatest architects and dreamers came to say, "This is my vision, here is something new." That spirit still haunts Montréal and we want to focus it's energies and create a new Montréal Cuisine that transcends smoked meat, cabana sucre, and poutine. This is the fertility of Quebec's fields and gardens fused with the creativity of the world's sexiest city--This is Ariel.

The vines of the Okanagan, Ontario, and Quebec bask in abundant sun, and root themselves in ancient soil. Canadian waters nourish them, and Canadian farmers and winemakers skilfully vinify and bottle them. And then they sit taxed and boxed, too expensive to cross provincial borders or end up on restaurant lists--hidden from inquisitive wine lovers. We want to free them...we want to put them along side Montréal Cuisine and let Quebec produce, rich Alberta beef, and fresh Maritime Seafood meet their luscious cousin! We mark up our bottles of Canadian wine much less then most, because we want them open, poured, and enjoyed. What good is a new Montreal Cuisine if we can't bring together a truly Canadian experience?
