Restaurant Monville

The Beds were super comfy, the rooms were clean and modern, small but perfect for 1 person. The views were great. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The location is great. Next to the convention Centre, old Montreal. St. Catherine's st, the waterfront. The secret gem was the terrace it was a lovely place to unwind with colleagues at night. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it for anyone.

Hotel is very nice so far but restaurant and bar needs some work. Ordered a glass of wine from their wine list and was told not available yet staring at the bottle on the shelf. Guess they didn’t want to open another one…had to settle for a lesser brand….shame. Same for the martini. Hope you like a lemon twist since not an olive to be seen. So needs some work but the rooms are nice and yes check in is easy and good location. Suggesting drinking and eating at other places.

My wife and I booked directly through the hotel and was was given a special rate that included valet parking and breakfast. However, when we arrived the offer was not noted. After several phone calls it was resolved. This process could have been better. The valet service was great. It was fast and the people were friendly and accommodating. The room was small but nice and clean. We were a little concerned that there is no top bed sheet. I still don’t get that! The TV connection to the internet was poor and there was a constant delay so sounds never match the picture. The food at the bar/ restaurant was great. We ordered steak and drinks. It felt a little like eating in a lobby but service was great. Breakfast the next day was good. We had trouble applying the special offer but again, after a few phone calls the front desk person resolved the issue. We found the location to be good for visiting Old Montreal and for shopping on St Catherine’s Street. I would visit again but I would ask for better communication/ confirmation of special offers via email before arriving at the hotel.

Christopher from the desk could not be more friendly and nice, he went above his task to help me and meet my requests. Hotel's breakfast was so delicious and satisfying. Hotel may seems small but tbh it gives more focus to the staff to provide more quality service. The room was so calm and enough for two person, we enjoyed our two night stay there.

This is a minimalist Hotel with self check-in. The rooms are on the smaller side and I found it odd that my bed only had a bottom sheet and a duvet, no top sheet. There is no mini bar or vending machines for snacks and drinks so if you don't want to call room service you have to walk about 4 blocks to the closest convenience store. That said the rooms were clean and nicely appointed and the little staff I interacted with were very helpful.

We had a one night stay at this location, valet parking was quick and convenient, nothing was moved or messed with in the car. Room was extremely clean, small but perfect with a view! TV was quite slow but not the end or the world. Overall very satisfied and price is perfect

Nice modern hotel. Regular rooms are a bit small, but after staying a few times, I can say they're always impeccable: clean, well-kept, practical, well decorated. Staff is efficient and nice, but could be more attentive sometimes. Very well placed, it's basically a few minutes walk away from many main points of Montreal. Old town, Cathedral 10-15 min, St Catherine 5-10 min.

Beautiful hotel, staff and service. From booking to check in and check out it was a perfect and unique experience. I love how high tech the hotel is with their easy check out, no waiting, no hassle. The beds are super comfortable and A+ shower, unlike other hotels. The location is perfect if you are looking to spend time in Old Port or downtown and the metro is just steps away. My go to place when I’m staying in the city.

Excellent hote and fantastic location: walking distance to Montreal’s Chinatown, Old port Montreal and downtown which gives you an amazing opportunity to try some cool little bars and restaurants. The rooms are modern, comfortable and spacious with large windows overlooking the city. The staff had put a little chocolate box in our room with a greeting card that had our names on it with a picture of Schwartz Deli, which was thoughtful and made me feel welcome immediately. Service was very responsive and prompt. Breakfast was nice and buffet style with different choices. The gym was spacious enough and well equipped with heavy weights, benches, jumping box, cardio machines as well as water cooler. Will definitely come back again!

Wow and extra wow for the hotel! The room was excellent, beautiful, clean, comfortable in EVERYTHING, really!!! And the breakfast? O gosh! It was like a lunch and part of a dinner for me, really hearty and tasty. Very nice and kind staff. I enjoyed my stay a lot! Thanks :-Rooms: 5/5
