never thought I’d be writing a Google review for a McDonald’s… but this location deserves one! We were visiting Cranbrook from Edmonton, Alberta, and after a late night drive with family, we decided to stop in around 10 p.m. From the outside, it looked pretty quiet except for the drive thru, which was busy!, so we weren’t sure it was open.nnWalking inside completely caught us by surprise. This McDonald’s is HUGE! There are so many booths, tables, and places to sit. It felt bright, clean, and incredibly spacious.nnThe staff were friendly, our food was fresh, and everything came out quickly. But my favourite part by far was seeing the old school Ronald McDonald statue! We had to stop and take pictures because it’s just not something you see anymore, especially where we’re from. It brought back so many fun childhood memories.nnI really hope this location keeps Ronald around for years to come. It’s such a nostalgic little touch that makes this McDonald’s stand out from the rest. If you’re passing through Cranbrook, it’s definitely worth stopping in!

Horrible experience! Makes you wait every single time for one coffee or a pie!! Time on screens shouldn’t be more important then time of your Customers. Made us pullover and then no one shows up after 2 visits inside and 20 minutes. Staff on the window has no knowledge. Finally you go for the third time after 30 minutes to get food and again ask you to wait 5-6 more minutes. Dont call yourself a fast food restaurant. More like a waiting and walk away without food spot

We went through the McDonald’s drive-thru at 9:40 A.M Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026. There was a young man at the 2nd window named Cole, he provided excellent service and was super kind and respectful when handing us our order. He also input a quick coffee we had forgot to order at the speaker and got our drinks and food out to us promptly and correctly :

Terrible experience here. The staff was very lazy and rude. They only gave me my Diet Coke at first and later made faces when asked to exchange my drink. Then, I had to wait 15 to 20 minutes for the food. By the time it came out, my soda was completely flat. On top of that, they forgot to give me my chicken nuggets and sauce. I had to go all the way back to get the rest of my order. Total waste of time and money.

Went to get food well store was empty, was first in driver thou as well. Got turned away saying they were under staffed and couldn't take our order. Tried to asked if we could wait untill they had time and she groaned and wouldn't talk to us, ignored us through the window when we tried to get their attention respectfully because I didn't know if they couldn't hear me. She looked at me and walked away. Very disrespectful, just wanted some fries.
