They were really busy, but they got my boyfriend's order wrong via the drive-thru. Thankfully we don't have any allergies, or else we wouldn't be able to eat.Food: 3/5
I wish I could give no stars. Stopped today and ordered a happy meal, iced coffee and a Mcdouble, a small order. I did so through the app and waited in the designated parking spot. After 15 minutes of waiting, 25 cars passing in the drive thru and dozens coming out from the restaurant, I decided to go ask if the had received my order. The girl tells me, in the most condescending voice, yes we have it, it's coming. As if waiting 15 minutes for an order is absolutely normal... 5 minutes later someone brings out my order. My burger looked like the threw it under a Mac truck and my iced coffee tasted of room temp water. Sadly this isn't the first time, but I've learned my lesson. I'll go a cross to Tim hortons. Appalling place. Don't bother wasting your time and money here.
I just want to give a big shout-out to this wonderful young man that just started working there or at least I recently started seeing him. I never caught his name, but he's always in the "payment window", he is such a sweetheart! He welcomes you with his big smile and always wishes you a great day, he reminds me of a happy little Labrador! He is a great kid and golden worker and whoever is in charge, please give him a raise! He worked during the day today, Sunday December 4th 2022.
Drive thru experience was 5 stars. From our way to Ottawa to Montreal. Best breakfast I had at a MacDonalds. Hash browns were delicious and crunchy, coffee was fresh, yummy sandwich.
The drive through is not opened 24H as advertised. It closes at 10PM and opens at 6AM. I saw 11 cars get off the hwy for this false advertising within 20 minutes.
Caveat: we went later at night, 11pm or so. The service was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I wish the food had been half as good. The fries were terrible, soggy and bland. We got some chicken nuggets and they tasted like they had been sitting around for a while. Not sure if this is standard or just a bad night. Parking: No shortage of parking
This is not the first time that we ordered diet cokes, to receive regular cokes, we are diabetics and this is dangerous. Also why isn't the tab on the cover lid not pressed down to ensure accountability of receiving a diet drink, maybe the manager needs to be retrained? Very disappointed concerning a simple task
Doors are locked early, but the drive through was fast. Fries were fresh, Big Mac was good. There is not many places on the 417 open late, so this is worth stopping for, if you are hungry. Closes early at 10pm. Seems silly that all the highway places here close so early
Owner and operator of this establishment has a license to print money with a McDonald's banner .. if any legitimate inspector read this and actually enforced better work ethics it would be a gold mine... Especially when burger king and Harvey is across the street and losing customer is easy as a min driveFood: 1/5
We like to stop here on the way to Montreal, it is about 1h and half from Ottawa. The place has a play structure for kids to spend some energy after long drive. Drive through is open 24h.
