i love mcdonald’s and i don’t like to complain but i got to say that this is one of the worst ones i have been to, and many others also agree with me. each and every time it has not been a good experience. Always very slow, waited about 10 minutes just for my root beer, burger was very poorly put together and i asked for no pickles and i got extra. paid for 3 packs of sweet n sour sauce that i didn’t get. fries were cold and they could’ve been cooked more.
Coffees only have sugar half the time. Zero effort but into the food and the wait times for something simple are kind of ridiculous. The revolving staff probably doesn’t help the situation there either. I used to love McDonald’s I like it in other places still but the olds locations over the past 3 years have really taken a dive quality and service wise.
IF THERE WAS A NEGATIVE STAR I'D PICK THAT!!!!! waited in line for 45 minutes for a burger and a wrap... didn't even get my food... pop machine was not functional, ice cream machine not working, ice coffee machine not working!! Pathetic!!!! 8 employees walking around aimlessly not knowing what to do!! People waited for 10 minutes to even order their food!!! I'd be embarrassed to say I'm employed at this establishment.. will never go back!! Flys all over the ceiling, garbage all over, tables not cleaned, no organization of orders what so ever, employees had deer in the Headlights look whole time... buddy got his food after 45 minutes.... he took one look at his food and tossed it.
Big need for quality control on simple items. We take black coffee, it is not a regular coffee. It's is the easiest coffee to make but not when they type it as regular coffee. Regular coffee has cr&sug. This is not black. This has happened consistently since opening.
Was looking forward to the new store to opening but have been seriously disappointed in it. Breakfasts have been disappointing. Not sure one order has been right yet This morning I was told that they werent sure if breakfast was still being served, even though it's all day breakfast. I ordered hot cakes with sausage with an extra syrup. I received hotcakes and 1 syrup, and this is not the first time. After all the incorrect orders and lousy service we have decided never to go back. I truly thought i had seen the worst McDonald's in Calgary but it is actually looks pretty good right now. Very disappointed!
I suggest not putting kids on night shift all they did was yell and play around. Missed some of my orders and had the audacity to blame us saying that we didn't say it when we clearly said it multiple times and asked us multiple times. We waited for 10 minutes just to get cold fries in the bag and even asked for ketchup but didn't get any.
Place is bottom G not top G! 2 days in a row showed up at 5:30am and sat at drive thru today for 10 minutes with no answer, Finally after shouting at the screen decided to leave. I will never be coming back to this location. The Manager should be fired for not having enough staff on duty. In my experience At all times in the day service is slow at this location.
Staff was very confused and unorganized. Drive-thru orders were coming inside to pick up their orders. Counter pick ups were delayed and confused. Need better supervision and organization. Management is very poor. Also cold drafts in building. Need a blanket to keep warm. Cleaning staff is very nice and took my garbage from me. Kodoo's to cleaning staff. I will not eat at Old's McDonald's again.
S L O W service, orders are ALWAYS wrong, food seems to get grosser and colder everytime... I don't think they really care about the reviews anyway because it never changes. On a positive note, I would like to thank the Olds location for permanently deterring me from going to any McDonald's, anywhere, ever again!Food: 1/5
