I watched as 8 staff members stood around completely clueless to what was happening, they didn't even have headsets on so as orders came through they had to ask for things to be changed at the window due to lack of product. I ordered a coffee and a breakfast sandwich, my coffee was done immediately and sat for 15 minutes before receiving it. It was literally 3 of us in the store. Completely unacceptable.
This morning, I wanted to go get coffee and a sandwich before work and no one helped me. It looked like it wasn't even open even though it says on the mcdonalds site that are and I saw a lady. I went around to the window and when the lady saw me she just walked away...Food: 1/5
Fairly clean, it's a mcdonalds very few are as clean as they should be .. Better than many however they always cheap out on the Sundae. Many fill even the cap but this one is always way below the cup. It's annoying. I try to avoid it.
Can’t believe they charge 85 cents to add a single slice of tomato on a sandwich or burger. You can buy whole tomatoes for less. And we went to a and w and they don’t charge anything. Tomatoes have higher vitamin c content than oranges apparently, and if any of you want to get ready for the next covid season by boosting your immunity, go to a and w instead
Noticed cooks handling my food were not wearing gloves. I watched the cook grab a tomatoes with thier bear hand and put them on my wrap and then wipe his hands on his dirty pants and went for the cheese. My dad got a burger that he stated was icy cold. While eating I had direct view of the kitchen and I noticed a few of the cooks were constantly arguing with each other Infront of customers. Gross and unorofessional.
This is the slowest drive through I have ever been through. 25 minutes for 5 vehicles. We were the last car in the line at the end. No one behind us. Still five minutes to get coffees after we paid. Don't go here at night. Seriously, don't.
Last Friday night Oct7, when we were finished our meal and was about to leave, I went to the drink machine to get a refill. My cup was still half full before I topped it up. After I filled my drink cup, the manager on duty came over and said "Excuse me sir! Refills are not allowed. If I catch you doing that again, I will make you pay for another drink". He was treating me as if I was stealing!! I was so mad, I just said "Sure, whatever", and quickly left before I said what I really wanted to say. There is a big sign above the pop machines that says "Refresh. Refill. Enjoy". There are 2 very small signs on one of the machines that says, "For everyone's safety, we are not offering refills or accepting travel mugs at this moment". These signs are not noticeable. I only noticed these signs after I went to McDonalds the next day to see if there were any signs anywhere saying that refills are not allowed. There are no signs on the other pop machine saying refills are not allowed. This is probably why I never noticed the 2 small signs saying that refills are not allowed because the pop machine that I always use does not have any signs on it saying no refills. I honestly did not know that refills were not allowed at the Wainwright McDonalds for several reasons. Customers have to fill their own drinks. During the pandemic, the pop machines were disabled, and the employees filled the drinks from the back. Since the machines were turned back on for customers to fill their own drinks, I assumed that refills were allowed as well. There is a big sign right above the machines advertising refills. "Refresh. Refill. Enjoy". You should take this sign down or cover up the refill part, because you are falsely advertising that refills are allowed. I have recently been to 3 other McDonalds Lloydminster, Camrose, Edmonton and they all allow refills, so I assumed it was the same with the Wainwright McDonalds. There are several other restaurants in Wainwright that has their drink machines out front for their customers to fill their own drinks and they all allow refills. If you do not want your customers to refill their drinks, then turn the machines off and have your employees fill customer drinks from the back only, like you were already doing during the pandemic. This is not about safety! This is about increasing your profits! You are allowing every one of your customers easy access to these machines to fill their own drinks. Some of your customers can be infected with the virus and can easily touch any part of the pop machines. For that reason, your no refill policy because of "Safety reasons" makes no sense at all. The next time I go back to this McDonalds, I will refill my drink if that big sign above the pop machines is still advertising refills. I will do what the sign says. Refresh. Refill. Enjoy. Refresh? Sure, if I am very thirsty, even a McDonalds watered down drink can be refreshing. Refill? I will do exactly what the sign says I can do and I will refill my drink. Enjoy? Yes, I will certainly enjoy my free refill even if your rude employee thinks he can make me pay for it.
Disgusting servers! Shame on you guys and your service Me and my brother being professional drivers stopped at this location for food. The girl on the shift refused to take our order because of dine in was closed but drive thru was open. She was in a rude tone and said we can't serve you here without a vehicle. Well! I don't think so it was acceptable behaviour and also, i wana say people working at this location should start respecting truckers otherwise its better to shut your business off
Great service, helpful staff. Food could use a quality control check.Food: 3/5
