McCoy Burger

If you’re looking for a great customer service & phenomenal burgers this is definitely the place for you. As a proud Canadian I like the fact that all the food was locally sourced and kosher which was an extreme bonus. From the moment that I bit into the burger, I knew I would be back for more.

Late afternoon lunch or early dinner. The smash burger and fresh cut fries were amazing. My lady had the poutine and gravy and curd was amazing. The only drawback was the brown cashier person was a little rude and unfriendly to a few customers when my group was having our food. He needs some coach back! Food was good but the cashier was just not nice!!!

Literally the best burger I’ve ever had in my whole life and that means a lot. The staff is super friendly, store is really clean, and the burger was just incredible, you can tell they put a lot of love into your burger because it tastes lovely!

My legit burger go to spot after moving to Ajax! You can tell their burgers are hand made, toppings are always fresh and their portions are massive. Best part of coming here is having nice chat with Floyd the owner, awesome guy you’ll ever meet, this trickles down to his staff. Must check out when in north Ajax!

At first we were happy with the portion sizes, they were huge. But hubby's burger was soaked in the sauces they used to the point where it was almost ineatible without a fork and knife. The burger was bland despite the amount of sauces that were coating the burger and both sides of the Bun. Our children had the tenders, they were over cooked and difficult for them to bite through. Our fries although the flavor was good, were over cooked. I ordered the buttermilk chicken burger, which upon seeing was massive, but as I began to eat it realized quickly that it was mostly just the breaded and actually contained very little chicken and was over cooked as well. They had no non-pop options for the kids. They only had Coke, Diet Coke, sprite and ginger ale. We had high hopes for this burger joint as the staff was mostly friendly. Unfortunately we won't be back.

I’ve been to McCoy many time. I always enjoyed the burgers, but this time my burger was not very good. I ordered the Braised Beef Burger combo with gravy. The Burger Bun was completely soggy and the gravy was like jelly and so hot I couldn’t even eat it. I do think I’ll order that burger again.

We got two burgers, fries and onion rings. All were really great. Burgers were classic with a soft bun, some veg and standard toppings - but everything was really fresh and the meat tasted great. Fries and onion rings were both fantastic. Ready to go for our order but still tasted fresh - we ate in the car and shared. The onion rings were particularly good. Nice breaded crunch and that medium cooked onion on the inside - not soggy or raw.

Double French Onion burger was delicious! What a cool combination. I originally tried them at the Dundas square Burger festival and this place hasn't left my memory since. We need one of these downtown! I've been waiting for months to pass through Ajax to try it again. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I ordered a burger to dine in and one to go. They offered to keep my take out under a heat lamp until I was ready to leave the restaurant. The restaurant is very clean. Staff washes their hands thoroughly after each and every time they need to handle food. The patties are nice and juicy. They load a handful of crispy onions to top the burger. Would be cool if they had the slider size samplers because everything on the menu looks delicious. I guess I have to come back soon!

Favourite place to get a burger. The beef they use is what sets them apart. They sear the patty just right. Staff is way on top of their game, the dude who makes the burgers most of the time is a an absolute legend. He’s always pressing perfect patty’s! The burgers are always dressed nicely as well.
