Great park. I love how there is an outdoor gym, though you will never catch me using it. The playground is very nice with two separate areas for younger kids and bigger kids. The two pavilions are also nice and everything appears to be well maintained. I have two complaints, however. First, there was not enough parking in the lot I was in for a birthday party at one of the pavilions. There was plenty of charging stations for electric vehicles but limited space for the internal combustion engine. There were a number of people who had to park in these spaces without needing to charge. My second complaint is how many bees there were. I understand it's outside and I was in their habitat, but with the garbage cans secured to the pavilion and being so close to the tables, it allowed so many of them to congregate near people. Thankfully no one was stung but they the bees were buzzing around and annoying everyone. Neither of these complaints is enough to make me not want to visit again. I would just go a little more prepared - somehow.
Took a nice 3 mile walk on the Lewis trail. Local softball team was playing, and it was a great day to be outside. Beautiful trails and views.
Theres quite a few exercise machines at the back of the playground. Theres also more than enough electric car charging ports. Overall decent park.
Great park overall. There are many athletic fields. There is also a small but well maintained system of trails which are great for cross country skiing. There is also a sledding hill right by the entrance. The park is great for birding. I have seen both common and rare species. It is also great for running , hiking and mountain biking in the summer but it can get really muddy.
beautiful baseball diamonds ! not sure if they are open to the public. they have a gorgeous playground. lots of tennis courts and Bball courts. miles of hiking trails around the park that connect to Glenville dog park. also ymca next doorPlayground: YesPublic restrooms: YesPicnic tables: YesBarbecue grills: Yes
The play structure here is the tallest I've ever seen at a park! It's easily taller than my rowhome in Baltimore. Very fun for all ages, but the top level is accessible only by a ladder, so maybe ages 2.5+ would require less climbing with Mom. ; There is also a standing see-saw and several banks of swings, including several for babies. There's a pavilion right next to the park for easy lunches. The kids ages 7, 5 and 1.5 love coming here when we visit Glenville!
Something for everyone at this park. Hiking trails, baseball fields, football and soccer fields, a play ground for the kids.
Great park. Outdoor exercise equipment, two playgrounds for kids, tennis courts, baseball fields and hiking trails. Also 4 electric vehicle charging station near the playground parking lot.
Great spot for baseball games. Fields were well taken care of. Playground was nice for the kids. Parking was limited especially on the softball side where everyone had to park in grass. No restrooms except porta-johns for softball. No concession for softball. Concession prices at baseball field were very expensive.
Nice complex for baseball with well maintained fields. Could use a bit of shade for the spectators
