Mazatlan Mexican Restaurant

The male host was rude and awful. He literally walked to a table, tossed down menus and walked away. A host or hostess is the face of the restaurant. To have one with rude disregard really sets the tone of the experience. The waitress was nice and knowledgeable. The food was a bit bland. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. Based on the host alone, I can not in good conscience recommend this place until that changes. No one deserves that kind of treatment. It's sad in an otherwise good environment.

Me and my roommate decided to go to dinner for Friday night. When we arrived we were seated and then completely ignored for at least 15 minutes almost literally they stopped one time to ask us what we would like to drink... We both noticed them laughing at us and snickering while looking over the tables at us which we tried to think nothing of it at the time. Then when we get our food everything was great until I found a metal piece of a sponge a brillow pad in my food! Now I know they've done all this purposely the lady was not even remorseful. I couldn't even believe it really when I talked to the guy that I've known for 15 years of coming to this restaurant I was so saddened. We literally got up and left didn't even finish the burritos and they still wanted to charge me $20. for my roommates burrito even though she refused to eat it too after seeing what was in mine. Even after I paid him the $20 they were still looking at both of us thinking that they were getting a tip I couldn't believe it. After them smirking and laughing at us,this really saddens me because I've been coming to this place 15 years, this place was one of the greatest places in Redmond. Never coming back, and I don't think I've ever experienced this in a restaurant before this tops it all.

This is our second visit and we had an even better experience. Host greeted us and found us a booth, he was super kind and welcoming. Thanks to our first time we knew what we wanted. We started with the real Mexican coke. We weren't very hungry so we ordered half size Flautas, in addition to their specialty; Mazatlan Delux. We urge you - go and enjoy like we do!

Consistently good if you are looking for traditional tex mex type food. Portions were ample and just what you would expect. Pretty good service and kind staff. Good place to take kids and larger groups. Overall just a good place for what most Americans grew up knowing what is Mexican food.

My family and I went to here last night and the food was amazing, best I’ve had outside of Mexico in a while. And the service was great. Definitely going back when I can and I’d highly recommend it.

First time eating at this restaurant in Redmond. Food & service were excellent. Many selections to choose from. Since I am a vegetarian, I was delighted to see how many meals were available for me! Definitely recommend!Food: 5/5

Excellent food and atmosphere that puts you in a definite hunger for mexican food! I got Quesadillas and there was no room for complaints. At our exiting time we had a bit of a wait but still good enough to get 5 stars.

No refill on chips. 5$ for an extra plate... Food is good but my family decided we won't be coming back. Cedros Mazatlan in Oregon city is a much better dining experience.Food: 5/5

I'll never go back. They charge double the price for fajitas for 2 but only give you the same amount of fajitas. They only give you a extra plate with sides. That's not worth 23 extra dollars.

This restaurant was great! We were sat quickly, and given salsa, bean dip, and chips immediately for our hungry toddlers much appreciated! Food selection was large and tasted wonderful!
