Walked by and the delicious smell made us curious to try this restaurant. The owner I think was very friendly and kept apologizing for not getting to us fast enough because he was so busy but it was totally fine. He made sure our food was perfect and even made a special dish for our daughter. we ordered the chicken and beef wrap. Highly recommend. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if your in the area.
We tried the donair and mixed platter. The portion sizes were good. The service was also good, only 1 person working so it is a bit slow. The food was flavorful, the donair was very crispy and tasty. I enjoyed the meal. The prices are on higher end though, he charged us $3.44 for a 500ml Coke Zero bottle, which is pretty expensive. I would come again.
I usually don’t like to write criticized reviews but the food is below average close to none ordered beef platter with three pieces of falafel …the rice is blasted in the microwave for more than five minutes the salad was normal nothing special lemon and vinegar . The beef was leathery,hard burned and tasteless to be honest i felt it was one or two days old . That they took out of the fridge and placed it on the grill till it burned. The hummus was off had some funny taste to it . As for the falafel was oily and tasteless fried till it is crispy to a point you are eating oily crispy leftovers …. Unfortunately my experience was very bad and i paid $25 not worth it i could not even reach half way and i walked away.
I stopped here to get a shawarma on my way to the gym and the guy was both helpful and friendly. I was about 50 cents short and even though I offered to use debit, he let it slide and even gave me a complimentary baklava, which btw, was absolutely amazing! Swear to God, it mighty be the best baklava I've ever had. Will definitely return!
Great place for shawarma. Very tasty and the employees are friendly. I usually get the donair shawarma which is excellent.
The owner is actually Iraqi, so the rice they make here taste like Persian style rice really good. Huge portions for everything. Their medium sharwarma will fill most people, large will just blow up your stomach. See picture for their mixed platter.
Good quality Labeness and maditerinian food and decent portions. Best shawarma , toasted, in Calgary. Like it very much. And it is HALAL
Adel and his daughter Sarah were so accommodating. With short notice, they were able to feed our office party with a beautiful platter. It was gorgeous!!! Once we came to pick it up, the level of excellent customer service never ceased. What a warm and welcoming shop.
Amazing Halal food. Great service. Delicious taste. Highly recommended.
