Some drivers are friendly and respectful..although I've had a few drivers who are rude & impatient. Even after making a complaint I couldn't get an apology from the dispatch. She was more rude then then person I was making complaint about. Very frustrating
I booked through the app the previous night for 6:20. By 6am I had nothing saying it was confirmed or that a car was kn the way so I called. No text that it was confirmed or on the way. Miss a call from a driver at 6:09 and called back twice with no answer.

Seemingly ignorant to, or completely oblivious to common sense or the Alberta Traffic Safety Act, the driver of cab 258 though it perfectly alright to park on a crosswalk, facing the wrong way, at Westwinds Superstore two nights ago. He could have parked LEGALLY and SAFELY by moving 15' either way, but NO!
I booked a pet taxi TWO days in advance for a 8:45 pickup. No show because they couldn’t find somebody in my area. Had to cancel Gracie’s appointment. So disappointed. Why book in advance if it doesn’t mean anything to them
I love Mayfair taxi, drivers are always amazing and so are the people that book the taxi for you. I booked a taxi today around 12:30-12:45pm. It was around 1:00pm when a friend offered to give me a ride. I was waiting for someone to answer Mayfair for over 10 minutes to cancel the taxi as I took my friend up on her offer. We had left the location and was no longer waiting for the taxi. I know someone could've been on their break but I felt so bad when the driver called me asking where I was. I explained the situation and apologized and he was angry and hung up on me. I understand why he was angry but that wouldn't have happened if someone had answered the phone so I could cancel.
I was hesitant about booking with Mayfair because of all the bad reviews but I couldn't get anyone else to answer the phone so decided to take a chance. First, when I phoned to book, the phone was answered on the third ring by a human being, not some automated system that puts you on hold for ages. The gal was pleasant, courteous, and professional. Second, the driver arrived 5 minutes EARLY and phoned to let me know he was here. The car was clean and he greeted me with a cheery 'Good Morning'. I gave him the address of where I was going and he questioned if it was the right address. I'm new to Calgary and I had the address as Ave instead of St. He was very courteous and respectful about it and together we made sure I was going to the right place. He also pointed out landmarks so I could tell my husband what to look for when he came to pick me up later in the day. Thank you Driver 208! And thank you Mayfair for a great experience.
