Maydoh Restaurant

Have been an off and on visitor of Maydoh since my high school days. I remember the dishes normally being well-prepared, and flavourful. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the dining experience enjoyable and comfortable. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming, with a warm and inviting ambiance. The decor was simple yet elegant, making it the perfect place for a relaxed and casual meal. It is with great sadness that I learned that Maydoh was closing its doors. The community will surely miss this staple in Markham and the delicious food that they offered over the years. I heard that the owner may re-open in the near future which I am excited to see.

Rated best satay beef noodle in uptown?? Satay was rich in flavour with hints of peanuts. Beef was chewy but tender and noodles was just cooked perfectly. Milk tea was nice too, Would definitely come back for more

Eating here is all about the Hong Kong style Russian Broth Soup. This place had the best soup in Markham, and fair price for the food they offer. Love the Baked Portuguese Chicken rice here as well.Food: 5/5

They sold their business and closed as of today, January 30, 2023. Spoken with the owner and they may re-open at nearby location in future. So stay tune.

Classic HK diner, they play HK news on their tv and have good lunch specials. Their food is not bad but it used to be better.Food: 3/5

One of the waitresses is very nice. She translated the special as I cannot read the characters. Ordered the combos. The borscht soup was good. The noodles and fried rice were good too. Definitely will come back. I wish they have translations for the combos so otherwise I will have to bother her to translate them for us.

It is a small old style Hong Kong restaurant, food taste OK with inexpensive price. Seating and dining area needs improve.

This place never disappoints me even though I don't go there often but quality stays each time I visit. Their sweet and sour pork dish and porkchop cutlet must try.

We had diarrhea both my wife and me within a few hour ate the breakfast there. Took a few days to recover. Poor health condition and the staff doesn't give change. Not recommended.Food: 1/5
