This was my go-to spot for Chinese food since I was a child. We got take out tonight, for the first time in almost a year, and it was not good at all. The rice was flavorless, the chicken balls were mushy and the eggrolls were a weird texture. First time I have ever been truly disappointed with their food.
Very disappointed !!! Food was cold , rice was very bland, tasting like minute rice, no soya sauce packets in bag with food when we picked it up, and chop suey was green in color . I've eaten here before when visiting Sackville , but not again.. definitely a waste of money ..
Huge portions and incredible service. Our food was served on a huge platter, steaming hot. The server was so friendly. We will definitely be back!
Best Chinese food in Sackville. I go out of my way to go to may gardens whenever I'm in the HRM. Best egg rolls you'll find anywhere. Big portions, great taste, good prices. If you're looking for classic Chinese takeout, you won't be disappointed. Located in the old Robins on Sackville drive across from the esso station.
I love the food here but every single time we get a takeout order there is something wrong with it. Tonight we're sitting at home eating our 6 egg rolls we ordered without any plum sauce because they forgot to include plum sauce. Definitely triple check your order before you leave. Ask them to unpack it and re-pack it in front of you.
Never ate there until we moved to Lower Sackville and wow were we ever surprised at how good their good is. The quality and value you get is really outstanding. Love their chicken balls and fried rice and their shrimp is also delicious. It's so worth the time to check out. Almost forgot but their egg rolls are so tasty.
First visit to the new location and it's a nice open, bright place. Fast service and friendly staff. The food was very fresh with portions from the combo platters being enough to take home for a small lunch. The only zonk for me is the price. Like everything else today prices are just too high. And unfortunately that means fewer visits during the year. Would I go again knowing the prices are high? Absolutely.
Great Chinese food. Service was very quick and the server was obliging and friendly. We ordered the dinner for four and it was good variety and ample size. We had lots to bring home. My favorite was the ribs. The egg rolls were large and quite dense, maybe even a little on the tough side. The new location is clean, bright and roomy. The prices are reasonable and we will go there again
Big sized portion we all had to get a take out container to bring the food home. I had to share a meal with a friend and we went splits on it and it was the perfect amount. Lots of options and a good size dining area. They also have a public washroom.
