Better keep your receipt! Otherwise they refuse to stand by their product.nnI bought chicken here on Monday, April 7, and tried to cook it on the 8th. It was more than obviously spoiled. I went to the store to return it on the 9th, expecting a store credit. However without a receipt they said that they didn’t know what store it came from and there was nothing they could do.nnAs you can see, the store address is shown on the sticker. The price on the sticker reflects the current sale pricing. To maintain the stance that there is literally nothing they can do is rather absurd. All for $9 worth of chicken.nnBTW - I realized afterwards that I did have record of the purchase on their points app, but apparently even that doesn’t suffice.

Terrible store. They seem to hire just about anyone who is incompetent. My mother went shopping and was price matching as the store allows and the SUPERVISOR named JADE was laughing at her with an employee. They refused to give their names in order to complain. I just tried speaking to JADE, who then responded with “I have no time for this” and hung up on me several times as I tried to talk to him, but he seems to have more than enough time to laugh at customers. It’s disgusting to see how idiotic the people employed here can be. They don’t value customers and definitely do not care about the consequences to their actions like Jade for example. Promoting someone like him is a foolish mistake as it ruins the company’s reputation.

Used to be a decent store, but has steadily be declining. Lots of weekly specials, but often shelves are bare for those same weekly specials. Produce is usually of good quality.nnLately they don't seem to collect their grocery carts from the parking lots making the parking lot a mess.nBathrooms are disgustingnnStaff has always been helpful.nGreat, baked in-house baguettes for under $1.nIn store PharmacienClothing departmentnHousehold goodsnnSadly, they don't seem to keep special stocked recently. Day two of special and they're all out of 3 out of 4 items I came for. Not impressive. Using flyers to get people in, but not actually having the product in store.nn2019-07-10nThings seem to be worse than ever. Once again went shopping and they didn't have many of the advertised specials. None of the tomatoes, no peaches, no hotdogs, no chicken, no mangoes. Very disappointing.nnAt the end of the day, don't waste your time going to Maxi. Go to Walmart and price match. At least Walmart will have the products.nn2020-01-28nStill don't restock and don't have weekly specials: no broccoli, no apples, no grapes, no butter, ... Talk about false advertising!

Pros:nA A good location. Close to Fairview.nB Many items are available at some good prices.nC The machines for recycling cans are good and they work well and all the time.nnCons:nA Many items and need to be restocked because they are empty at times or at least have a sign or let people know it’s empty some of the foods are not ready or expired so BE CAREFUL.nB Many of the employees are lacking good work ethic and they are missing employees on weekends.nC Lines for checkout and things like that are long and they need more employees.nnConclusion:nA I’m indifferent on this grocery store. Joe fresh is great. Huge store. But at the cash u have to wait long! Their earphones are very good. I like this Maxi. But for the long wait i hve to give 3 stars.
