My niece recommended we have our brunch here and I love it. The decor was charming welcoming healing. The food was not only beautiful to look at but all the flavors were balanced. I would say the quality of the food was high up there in my opinion. The cocktails were so pretty and delicious as well. Staff was amazing in friendliness and professionalism. A must for Brunch lovers.

Very cozy brunch spot that expands in the back and is larger than appears! The food was clean, delicious, and filling without being heavy. Service was great and always made sure our cups were full. A selection of treats are available for takeout and various plants and herbs for purchase as well. A unique spot that I enjoyed very much.

Maven was such an amazing experience! Everything about it was amazing: the food, the service, the plants, and the general vibe of the place! We got to sit in the cafe for our breakfast which was a plant lovers dream! The staff was absolutely lovely and so personable. You could tell they were genuinely happy to be there and shared that with guests. The drinks were all amazing! The coffee was to die for and the refreshers were so fresh. Everything drink we got tasted great! The food was honestly some of the best I have ever had, and my group I went with agreed! Every dish was so carefully curated and were super unique. You could taste the passion in every dish and I left feeling so satisfied. If I could rate Maven higher than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat! I can’t wait to come back for some more amazing food!

The place has a very cozy atmosphere with lots of plants and decorations. The kitchen is open concept so you can see them preparing the food. However the tables were pretty close together so there isn't much privacy. Place was very clean but service was a little slow; she was however very helpful and kind. The dishes were hit or miss. The dishes I ordered the more unique ones were really really good but some of the other dishes were nothing special and I wouldn't order them again. I want to come back to try the other dishes.

A definite highlight of our visit in the city! Beautiful plants and decor that made for an aesthetic that was fully realized! Food and drinks were unique and both looked and tasted amazing. Our server was incredibly friendly and accommodating, particularly to help us fill some water bottles on our way out! If you're looking for a great breakfast/brunch location, this tops the list!

I love this place! I want to live here. The very concept of this restaurant/cafe/flower shop is to bring the natural world indoors. And it is beautiful! I enjoyed my time in here from the sights of the beautiful plants and vintage features. Everyone here is very nice and know everything a person should know about their menu. I was greeted with a warm, friendly, and sincere smile from the host, as she lead me to my seat in the cafe. Sadly, I couldn't have any of the food but it looks so beautiful. Why did I have to be on a diet now? Why?! I did have their maverick tea and it was a tea that I will go back for again and again.

For starters, this was one of the most interesting menus I've ever seen at a brunch place. The chef is influenced by German and Singapore roots and both sides are reflected on the menu sometimes both on the same plate. It was hard to decide on one dish; luckily I came with a group so we could share a little. The lemon curd pancakes were very memorable for me. That crust on the outside shows some skill. It was super fluffy yet cakey inside, and there was lemon flavor all throughout. The short ribs were super tender and had a subtly excellent flavor. The salmon hash was good, but I expected more flavors to stand out; the salmon was seared nicely though. This place had a very nice vibe, pretty fast service for a busy morning, and great service. Maven is definitely worth a visit if you're in the brunch mood.

A hidden gem here. First time to Calgary as an adult and the staff were lovely. Warm, full of knowledge, and overall wholesome. I've tried other brunch places found via google and this is still the best. Beautiful ambience, Instagram-worthy aesthetic, Unique menu items, and great open concept. This place has it all. If you are in Calgary, go here first.

Third time came here and Maven now became one of my favourite brunch spots. However, this time we are sitting at the patio with the sun hit right on out face, they should put some more umbrellas before someone faint. Foods were great and delicious but berry sauce on pasta not my things. They took so long to getting the bill, hope their service could be improved.

Cozy little spot with a nice atmosphere. Lots of plants and I like that. Server was super friendly and food was fantastic! Nice and thick bacon was the game changer! The fried bread was so fluffy! Couldn't have been happier with this visit. I would definitely come back for more.
