La Prep

La Prep Social Bistro is one of my wife's go-to spots in Gate A area. She has gotten sandwiches and cookies here many times in the past. The sandwiches always tasted fresh and yummy. The kids love the cookies and always run to La Prep Social Bistro when they see it. From the options available around, if you're looking for a quick simple meal, La Prep Social Bistro is your best bet.

I've ordered Chicken and Brie sandwich at LaPrep Calgary airport wing A . As menu says it should come with brie, caramelized onions, brie and arugula. I"ve got a bun with chicken strips and spinach covered with mayo. I've asked the team member who prepared the sandwich if it is done by mistake but was assured that it is the correct sandwich. This is a scam on their menu. Please be aware of this business.

I ordered/paid, went to the bathroom, came back and ask if my food was ready, and the server then started making it. Not sure if the cashier even communicated my order to the person making the food. Service was not great. Food tasted ok though.

I had a decent experience with the breakfast at La Prep located at the food court in Calgary Airport. The staff was friendly and the ambiance was pleasing. Perhaps it was the Early morning breakfast so I liked it, not sure why so many negative reviews. The only drawback that I experienced here was the coffee it was really bad at taste, we had to take it as it was included in the breakfast platter meal, so it was the worst one. The cappuccino or other beverages could be bought at a separate additional cost. Besides the fruits were just seasonal I believe, didn't get strawberries as I expected seeing the picture in display.

I had the Spartan wrap Vegetarian and it was very tasty. Great portion size with a full omlette in the wrap. Staff was busy but quick and friendly.Food: 5/5

Really bad, even for airport standards. Ignored for a long time by staff before they took my order. The toasts are burnt. 10 dollar omelette was small and tasted bad. Coffee was passable.Food: 1/5

This was one of the few places open in the early morning and is located at the corner of the food court. They offer a great variety of food, snacks, and drinks including fresh omelettes, sandwiches, cool signature coffee drinks, and more! We had their breakfast croissant and it was great. Edward took our order and he was the best. Super nice, attentive, and great customer service! Highly recommend!

Power Protein Bowl was a fresh yummy vegan option, a rare find in an airport food court! I grabbed my bowl on the way to the baggage claim area. Service was relatively quick and ordering was easy.Food: 4/5

The quality of the food and the overall experience was negative. Polite instructions about food prep weren’t followed and when asking about allergies, nobody who worked there knew the answer. It wasn’t until after I ordered that I found out some ingredients were missing. No napkins available either. Wish I went and got my money back.Food: 1/5

Delicious and wonderful experience. New standard for airport food has been set. Staff was pleasant and super fast despite the big line! Chicken & Brie sandwich was hot, melted and delicious. Mushroom Banh Mi was great as well. Awesome flavors and quality ingredients. Thanks for a great lunch. Kid-friendliness: Great options for kids
