Very nice store. Had some sweets and coffee from the Cafe part and ate on the patio. The sweets were well made but very, very sugary and sweet even for my taste. The Americano coffee was good. Also purchased some meat from the butcher portion of the store. Their meat is very, very good.
Ordered the Montreal smoked meat sandwich and a turkey sandwich turkey is freshly cut from their butcher. Both were amazing. Service was very friendly and they make a serious sandwich.
The pasta salad I purchased was very oily. I think there may also have been a miscommunication as I asked for my other food heated but I received it cold… I reheated the food at my job, which was okay. It was first time visiting their business and I told them this. It was not cheap and for the price, it was not worth it... ** Edit.. I never mentioned any lettuce greens...
Nice place for a coffee, large sized muffins, order a sandwich at the counter but be prepared to take the other half home. Lots of exotic foodstuff, butcher shop is wow, fresh pizza, and desserts.
We had them cater a milestone Birthday dinner for our family. Allison was so helpful, insightful and had a refreshing honest approach about our budget and portions. Chef Matthew came and the food was DELICIOUS, he was a dream to have. We enjoyed the experience start to finish. Highly recommend them for a beautiful catered evening. Thank you Maunders & Team.
I attended an event that was catered by Maunders and was so impressed that I visited their location recently and was blown away. The ready to go items, the fresh ingredients, butcher, and specialty groceries, all excellent. Staff was so helpful. I spent way too much time and way too much money on this first visit but will definitely be back again and again.
Family lives in the area so when visiting I stop and shop here first, good variety of items and ready made food.
I went to Maunders for lunch last week and it was not only a great experience, but the food was amazing. I ordered the Veggie Sourdough wrap with a coconut milk latte! The wrap was super fresh love sourdough!! and the service was great. We sat and enjoyed our lunch outside on the patio, which was so lovely. I also ordered some salads and prepped meals to take home with me that were delicious. I would highly recommend the Superfood Salad -- I should have ordered a bigger size it was so yummy!
Wow very impressed by the real coffee. Service with a smile. Great selection of quality ingredients and I need to go back for the steak that has been aged for 48 days.
Love this store as they carry the most unique products especially their placemats and napkins. I can never visit without purchasing something. Not to mention that Allison is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about food. Highly recommend this store!
