Nice ambience with a nice bar, pool tables, and games on the big screens. Service was lovely, and the price was decent. Tried several items from here, and especially loved the baby back ribs, the streak, and tuna sandwich. I had the beef dip which I also loved, but just that I personally preferred the other 3 more. A great place for a quick bite if you’re in the area; decent price for what you get especially considering it’s a sports bar, but service can be a little hit or miss. Went on two different Sundays. Waitress for the first time was friendly and attentive. Second time around we didn’t even know who was supposed to be our server. Waited for 15 minutes and nobody even made contact; had to flag someone down to order. Of course nobody checked in on us at all during the entire meal, and we had to flag down someone for a second time because we weren’t even given water.
I have to give props to the great service and accomodation to this Match Eatery. They went above and beyond for their service and they were super duper friendly. I got a chance to try out all the burgers for the burger bender and it tasted amazing. Must try the mushroom and filet o fish one. They are doing the 2023 burger blender till Feb 26th, so go check that out when you can.
Amazing service, Rachelle the server was hot and ready, just like the food. She was very attentive and filled my drinks up. I will definitely be coming back to Match for breakfast!
Thought I would pop in and have brunch, bad idea… don’t order the southern fried chicken and waffle. It’s dry, crumbly waffle with 2 small pieces of chicken, needed water every time I took a bite, stingy with the strawberries and the maple bourbon aioli drizzle, never got the wild honey butter or syrup.
Sports, great servers and staff. Professional management and an unbeatable happy hour menu. You cannot go wrong here, ever.
Service here was amazing, and the eatery was huge. It was spacious and clean. We ordered the seafood spaghettini for special price of $12 but it lacked flavour. The ahi tuna was plain and over cooked. But the Parmesan wings and tuna stack was great. The pulled pork poutine had a sour taste to the gravy perhaps due to the Guinness in it. But the fries was crispy and pulled pork was ok. I would come back to explore more on the menu and try the happy hour and try to catch a game
Great spot to catch a game/event. This is our weekly spot for football. Fun atmosphere, good food, great prizes and amazing staff! Beth, Jessica and Sherman are awesome!
Celebrated a friend's birthday here a few days ago. The staff were attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere, food and most of the drinks were great. BIG shout to Anika - she was effortlessly able cater to our large group. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and her cheery demeanor helped make the night! This was also during a very busy weekend Great spot for any occasion, highly recommend!
Service was fine. Food tasted mediocre a best. Both our dish had pulled pork which tasted old. I expected more from here. A bit disappointing
Best sports bar in the lower mainland! Lots of bars advertise that they are, but this one is the real deal! Lots of screens, watch variety of sports, knowledgeable staff who know how to work the remotes to get the game that you want to watch! Good food, reasonable prices, and friendly staff! Had a great time watching the Super Bowl here! Thanks Sherman for being a great host!! Hope to see you throughout the year!!
